The Contentment Cottage was fully renovated and an addition completed in January 2023. Come enjoy the newly renovated spaces and create lasting memories. Guests will experience a restful retreat with vaulted ceilings throughout the home, lots of natural light, hardwood floors, spacious and well equipped kitchen and entertaining area, 2 covered porches, NEW fire pit installed in private backyard. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk to Mallery Park, Village and the SSI Pier. FLETC Welcome & month long renters welcome- contact owner for discounts.

Great property for family trip!

This is a beautiful home! Clean and fresh! The house has several different areas for family and friends to enjoy their time visiting. Every amenity just as described. The cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Took my family of four (ages 1-9) and it was very family friendly. No stairs to fight with, toys and books for kids on site. Big open space and nice backyard for kids to play. A great central location to enjoy SSI, nice neighborhood to take a walk in. The owner was gracious and checked on us before and after check in. Very easy to communicate with and extra helpful. We will stay again.

Perfect 20th Anniversary Trip

Well designed home

We stayed at this house with three people who have never been to Saint Simons. The house was comfortable and well equipped and very clean. We had two good cooks, and they really enjoyed the big kitchen.

Great Stay!

We booked Christian’s place very last minute for Christmas because of a late change of plans. I was a little stressed out finding a nice place so close to Christmas, and we couldn’t have been happier to come across Christian’s place. The home was very clean and comfortable, and Christian was very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend!

Everything is brand new, large open floorplan, all the accessories you could possibly need, big yard (for St. Simon’s), great location…my children really enjoyed it…I’m on the island twice a month during the fall, winter & spring and this will be my “Go To” property every time!

First time for everything

My wife and I have been come down here with our own families for over 20 years and we met and got married and this is our first time in SSI with each other and our soon to be daughter. More beautiful in person!

This house looks beautiful in the pictures but even more so in person. With a family of 6 I was really excited for the bunk beds and large table for meals. They both accommodated us perfectly. The location is excellent as well - a quick drive to the pier, public beaches, playgrounds, restaurants and shops. We also really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood.

Wonderful Retreat in St Simons Island

I absolutely loved my stay at this lovely home. I was traveling solo four kids and this was the perfect little home. The renovation on the place was absolutely lovely. I was a quick ride into town (either by bike or by car). The house itself was super well stocked with games and toys for the kids, plenty of kitchen supplies and some super soft beach towels. They even had a cooler there if you needed one for the beach. I can't wait to come back!
