The Contentment Cottage was fully renovated and an addition completed in January 2023. Come enjoy the newly renovated spaces and create lasting memories. Guests will experience a restful retreat with vaulted ceilings throughout the home, lots of natural light, hardwood floors, spacious and well equipped kitchen and entertaining area, 2 covered porches, NEW fire pit installed in private backyard. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk to Mallery Park, Village and the SSI Pier.

Great stay!

We enjoyed 2 weeks here and would stay again! The house is as advertised and then some! Beautifully renovated. Quiet location within walking/biking distance to get everywhere. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Winter getaway

This cottage is a very attractive and comfortably clean place to stay. It has very recent renovations which make the house appear brand new. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen was very nice but the “blender” is a hand held mixer which didn’t work for us. There were no sauce pans but only sauté/frying pans and a large soup pot or maybe lobster pot.Toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen trash liners were in short supply for our two week stay. My understanding for those things in the list of essentials/amenities means those things should be supplied for the entire stay . There was only one hair dryer and , perhaps, should be one for each of the two bathrooms. There should be more details on the use of the televisions especially if the guests are not familiar with ROKU or doesn’t have a pin# for accessing ROKU. None of these critiques are deal killers but would clarify what is listed in the essentials/amenities. All in all, we would stay here again, as I said before none of the issues would be a “deal breaker”!

Enjoyable stay…AGAIN!

2nd time we’ve stayed here and the quality of the home is top notch and has more accessories & amenities than you could ever need for your stay. Back porch is perfect for any time of day but especially the mornings and evenings. Location is beyond convenient.

Great Stay!

We booked Christian’s place very last minute for Christmas because of a late change of plans. I was a little stressed out finding a nice place so close to Christmas, and we couldn’t have been happier to come across Christian’s place. The home was very clean and comfortable, and Christian was very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend!
