Home from home!

This property feels like home as soon as you walk in the door. It is located in a quiet residential suburb and has great transport links to nearby Perigueux as well as routes to the surrounding countryside and sights. The house and garden have everything you need for a relaxing holiday, and the owner Didier is an excellent host. I would stay there again.

Couldn't be more helpful, fantastic

Extremely helpful,kind host.lives locally,so can pop around for key handover very quickly. Gave us local strawberries,goat cheese,pate and samples of his amazing honey and wine . Spoke English and keen to practice. My dog fell in love with the huge garden.She was like a puppy, showing me every corner of the sealed garden.

Fantastic property with a superb host

This was our third visit to Periguex but our first visit to this property. Didier is a superb host as well as a really lovely person. Nothing was too much for him when we needed help. His English is excellent which made things so easy as well for us. The property was clean, tidy and well equipped. The location is great for access to Periguex as well as other areas in the Dordogne. There is a supermarket down the road for shopping and we were lucky enough to be at the house when the cherries were on the tree in the back garden. The property has a large fenced back garden so is perfect if you do have children or a dog with you. We enjoyed using the boules and had regular tournaments on a small gravelled area at the back of the house. Beds were comfy and loads of storage space as well. A great property with a great host.

Un tout petit peu déçu par le jardin qui n'était pas aussi entretenu que les photos de l’annonce Abritel et qui mentionnait un potager.Logement très propre (peut-être juste un peu plus à faire de manière approfondie pour les toiles d’araignées).Communation et disponibilité avec le propriétaire excellente.Dure du séjour 2 semaines en août.

grande maison bien équipée avec beau jardin.excellent accueil du propriétaire très sympathique.merci pour les lits faits et serviettes de toilettes et torchons à disposition.merci d'avoir accueilli aussi notre chat. un ménage un peu plus approfondi serait bienvenu sur certains points(vitres ,toiles d'araignées, qques cheveux.)bon à savoir: la route proche est tout de même assez passante dans la journée et le parking du stade juste en face de la maison très utilisé le WE, voire le soir. . la nuit, le gîte est plus calme.

Super séjour et super hôte

Nous avons passé un excellent moment. La maison est très fonctionnelle et très propre. Il y a un intermarché à quelques centaines de mètres ce qui est très pratique. Nous sommes venus avec 3 chiennes et un lapin et le propriétaire n'a posé aucun souci...Merci beaucoup à lui pour cela car beaucoup de propriétaires sont frileux pour les animaux alors qu'ils font partie de la famille. Je recommande vivement.

Maison spacieuse et grand jardin, quartier résidentiel super calme. Didier est un hôte cool et sympathique qui vous accueillera avec des douceurs de sa production. Nous avons passé un we studieux et ensoleillé au chateau de Rossignol pour un séminaire d’homéopathie.

Great place for a break with our dogs

Didier and his daughters are charming and very helpful. Even arranged vet visit for our trip home. Lovely to have seen his bee hives and tasted his honey and home made drinks. Property well equipped and about 10 mins drive from Perigueux. Dogs loved the garden too!

Très agréable séjour aux portes de Perigueux

Maison chaleureuse et bien équipée. Très bonne situation à dix minutes en bus de la gare et quinze du centre ville. Jardin, livres et jouets très appréciés des enfants !

Gîte très bien équipé

Gîte agréable et très bien équipé. Avons profité du grand jardin clôturé et notre chien aussi, ainsi que du potager. L'accueil des propriétaires est chaleureux et on se sent tout de suite chez soi dans ce gîte. Avons passé un agréable séjour. Je recommande cet endroit qui est situé près de nombreux sites touristiques.
