The cabin is beautifully situated and lives up to its name of Solitude. We appreciated the proximity to downtown Blue Ridge. They had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend and communication with the owner was fantastic!
The cabin is wonderfully decorated and offers much privacy and seclusion in a beautiful wooded setting. The sunrise's on the front porch which faces East were beautiful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
A beautiful place to stay, jaw dropping views. Very accessible to local things to do. Hosts are very available and helpful. Unique in the higher quality of the stay due to extra effort by the hosts to make the stay a pleasant one.
We had such a wonderful time and my wife and kids just enjoyed the entire experience! Very relaxing and so much for the kids to do! Highly recommend and will stay again!
We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! The cabin was incredibly well-maintained, clean, and cozy. The attention to detail and care put into the property really stood out. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!
The property was awesome as was the owner’s and their service was impeccable. Great cabin in an awesome private location. Everyone had a great time and we appreciate it so much how friendly and helpful the owners were. Highly recommend!
We had the most wonderful time at this cabin! It was easy to find, the hosts were very communicative, and the cabin is fabulous--great for a girls weekend getaway. The views were beautiful, especially after we received 6" of snow!
Property is beautiful and well-kept. Great views from the front deck. Kitchen is well-stocked with spices and utensils. Owner was very proactive with providing information on things to do.
Solitude was a wonderful stay! The views were unbeatable, the cabin was well maintained and furnished, and the hosts were thoughtful and went above and beyond to make sure we were stocked with extras such as coffee, dish and laundry soap, trash bags, and much more. 20 stars for sure!!!
The property was exactly what we had expected when we got there. Everything was great from the multitide of board games, to books and even video games.
The kitchen was fully stocked with everthing you need to cook and more.
We are already talking about coming back!
The property is clean and well maintained. The kitchen as well has everything to make all types of meals which we did. A truly awesome girls weekend. My girls and I plan to book this cabin every year if its available for a girls weekend trip.
Very clean and well appointed. Little things like having multiple lamps rather than just overhead lighting makes it feel like a home. The porches and wonderful. We spent most of our time in the lower room playing pool and watching baseball.
We had such a wonderful time at Solitude cabin in Blue Ridge — the place was tucked away just right, cozy and warm, and felt like our own little hideaway. Mornings watching an amazing sunrise and evenings by the fire pit, singing Christmas songs under the stars, made it magical and full of family memories. The Christmas decorations inside gave the cabin the perfect “home-for-the-holidays” vibe, and it was exactly what we needed for one last trip together before our son heads off to college. Everything about Solitude really felt special — peaceful, festive, and full of warmth. The host was amazing and warm. We will definitely be visiting this cabin again!
The accuracy of the online listing is off .. it does not do this place or it's homeowners justice. The place is immaculate, everything you need in one spot or just a short drive away., And the owners leave no comfort stone unturned.. will definitely be revisiting

Thanks for the awesome review! We look forward to hosting you in the future!
Husband and I came up with 2 of our daughters and their spouses and 2 of our grandsons. We did a little site seeing, went to the Apple Festival . We relaxed around the fire pit ate hotdogs and s’mores ! After the kids went to bed we got to enjoy the hot tub . The place is very up to date and has everything you need in a stay ! We plan to come back again .
Great quiet place for a base around Blue Ridge and surrounding areas
My wife was so excited to see the cute welcome basket with the bear and s'mores...it was a fun touch. The house was clean with plenty of towels and related amenities. Kitchen was well-appointed with ample dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. Plenty of room for us to spread out for some quiet time while also having a great downstairs and main area to hang out, watch TV, and shoot a few games of pool. Entire property was clean and functional.
We had a relaxing Spring Break vacation here— such a beautiful place and stunning sunrise views. It rained and stormed while we were there, almost felt we were right in the middle of it, very cool! There’s so much to do in the cabin that we didn’t mind the weather. The hot tub and deck are covered, and with the pool table and games this cabin is a great choice for rainy or winter weather. Owner/management top-notch and very friendly. Thanks for hosting us!

Thank you for the lovely review! We are so happy you had such a great time. Please come see us again!
The property is well maintained and filled with character and nostalgia. We enjoyed the porch views, fire pit, hot tub, pool table, grill, and comfy beds. The area is peaceful and quiet. We spotted a family of deer, went to Merciers, explored downtown Blue Ridge, and so much more. Our two year old loved the bears and books. We arrived late at night and it was almost pitch black. I recommend arriving before sundown and make sure you have a vehicle that can handle the mountain terrain.
