Literally few steps far from the most beautiful square in the world, brand new apartment, second floor (actually very few steps to climb...), quire recently completely renovated to an high standard, with classic furniture and decor, fully air conditioned, effective and reliable broadband connection through wifi, it has a comfortable living room with dining table and TV, a large sofa which is a very comfortable king size sofabed as well and a balcony which overlooks Calle Larga San Marco, a double bedroom with king size bed and TV, a second double bedroom with another large and comfortable king sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, fridge, stove and coffee maker, a shower bathroom and a toilet with washing machine.

Just right

This apartment was wonderful! Just the right amount of space. Perfect location, outrageously close to St. Mark’s square and the port. Sparklingly clean, with nice water pressure for showers. Windows are over a busy tourist street, so there was some noise but it was not too loud, and we sort of loved that busy sound and did not find it bothersome. Hosts were delightful! I would definitely choose this one again.

Mario's place was great for us 3 adults! The apartment is literally right around the corner from St Mark's Square/San Marco. It's a busy and loud area so I definitely recommend getting ear plugs. The location is perfect to getting to water taxis and buses and just experiencing the main attractions of Venice. Do recommend getting out of the area to the quieter parts and more local areas. Mario's place was well equipped. We took advantage of the washer. There are two bedrooms and one sitting area that has a pull out couch. The bed in the master room was comfy for us, we slept well. It's on the firmer side. The other room, the bed was very thin and it is part of a pull out couch. We recommended to Mario to get that mattress changed out as it will make for an even better stay! Having two bathrooms was really nice. The smaller bathroom, the toilet is in an awkward position, smaller space to sit in but the three us did just fine with that. All the amenities listed in the listing was available at the apartment. Stairs were actually not bad. I think it says 2nd floor but it's actually more like on the 1st floor/European. It's really a lovely space. You can see a sliver of St. Mark's Basilica from one window in the master room. Great places to eat within walking distance. And many tours meet at St. Mark's Square so that was a plus for us! We recommend staying here if you're looking for a central location and a nice space.
