The host was very helpful and accommodating. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was in good working order, wish it was under the roof on the back porch to keep leaves and bugs out while sitting in it, but not a huge deal.
Very seculded and quiet place. The hot tub was wonderfulanf only guests we seen were the cows that wondered by grazing lol. We left a new bag of coffe for the next guest and some non dairy creamer. This was exactly what we needed for our annivarsary. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your cabin.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice and quiet with all the amenities we needed. There is even a small creek to explore. The inside of the cabin was super cozy! Would definitely book again.
This was our second visit to the little cabin, it is very relaxing, clean, and has everything that you could need for a weekend getaway. It is very well maintained and it definitely will be a spot we will return to.
If you're looking for a cabin that gets you away from it all, this is it. The view from the back porch while sitting in the chairs and the hot tub were exactly what we wanted.
Adorable little cabin in the woods, loved sitting on the deck enjoy nature unconnecting from the hustle and bustle. Little creek was a treasure to explore and hottub was great after the creek! Definitely will be back!
Our stay here was everything we were wanting! Secluded and private and the hot tub was perfect after the sun went down. Everything you could need was provided. Also the creek was great to walk around for a little exploring!
I really enjoyed the property. The cabin was perfect for a couples weekend. We have stayed in Smithville before and we absolutely love the area. My biggest complaint was the smell of the water. Understandably it's sulphur water so
The communication with the owner was incredible. He brought his Jeep down to show us and spent a good while talking to us about where to go rock hunting. The property is in a very quiet, secluded location and had everything we needed for a restful weekend. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy but great for just me and my husband. The hot tub was awesome. It was close enough for us to go to the lake and hiking and out for dinner in hochatown but far enough away for us to feel the secluded relaxation we desired. Taking one star off the review because the cabin could use some updating, especially in the bathroom, where the floor is very unsteady and I almost fell. However even with that being said, we would stay again.
The hosts are so nice. Very helpful with anything and made us feel right at home. Cabin was exactly what we needed for our getaway after all the holidays. Secluded location and so serene. The little creek below the cabin is so beautiful and peaceful. We even got to bring our side by side and ride around all over. So worth it to travel it down with us. We can’t wait until we get to go back! Thank you so much for sharing this little slice of heaven with us! Loved it!
We LOVED the location and the cabin itself. There’s a creek out back that we walked around. We drive around the state park and walked/fished. Husband caught a nice sized drum and many sunfish! It had the necessities to warm up some meals I brought since the restaurants are a little ways off. Quiet, cozy, so relaxing. Definitely plan to come again. Had enough cell service to hear that our kids were doing fine at the grandparents. The wildflowers in the area were AMAZING.
We stayed at this quaint little cabin for our anniversary. We wanted the beauty of Broken Bow, but with way more privacy & seclusion. This was definitely everything we wanted & more. Cabin is perfect for just 2 & we truthfully didn't even spend that much time indoors anyways. Kitchen is stocked with necessities, so is the bathroom. We packed as if we were going camping, so we weren't lacking anything between what they had stocked & what we brought. There is plenty of area to explore & hike around. We enjoyed seeing the cattle, collecting pine cones, exploring the creek, sitting around the fire & just enjoying nature. Cabin was nice & clean, & the hot tub is nice especially on a chilly evening. We loved our stay & are hoping to return. We didnt get the chance to meet the owner, but we dropped our bags & went exploring immediately so I think we missed them. Everything was as advertised though, & we highly recommended for those wanting to reconnect with nature & the quiet!
