We stayed for 4 nights and it was very nice. The place was clean and very remote. The only thing is the cabins nearby are very close and one night we could hear people arguing. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.
Sand n Smores is one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in. It was super clean, well stocked with essentials and only a short walk to the river. The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived, just perfect for unwinding after a long ride. My husband and I have nick named this cabin (for future rentals) as the Sweet Spot. Thank you so much for making this little vacation relaxing from start to finish. We will return
Small cute cabin, located close to the water. There are other close surrounding houses that we didnt expect. The hot tube and other outside area is visible and close to other rentals. We didnt expect this. We were looking for more seclusion. Other than that everything was as advertised. would be good for a family with kids.
My family and I loved this cabin and will definitely be staying again. It was very clean and was very accurately described in the online descriptions. It is just the right size for a small family. The private hot tub next to the cabin was one of mine and my sons favorite amenities. As well as the firepit and provided firewood. It's only about 35 mins outside of Broken Bow which was perfectly located for us. We enjoyed being away from the crowds and in the quiet area of the cabin. However, being conveniently located near Broken Bow and Beavers Bend when we wanted to site see and try activities. The river is just a short walk around the bend of the road from the cabin. This is perfect for fishing. Definitely recommend Sand and Smores.

Disappointed
Directions took us an hour off the highway and through gravel dirt roads that were only 1 lane. Property wasn’t very accommodating. There were only 2 of us staying and only 4 k cups to last us the entire stay. No firewood or s’mores set up. I know these items aren’t required but other properties provide them and not so much here. Property WAY smaller than in pictures online. Required to start a load of towels prior to checkout. Isn’t that what the cleaning fee charged is for??? Wouldn’t recommend.
Very quiet & peaceful. Included a toaster oven. For coffee drinkers(which I’m not), there’s a 1-cup coffee maker, coffee, & condiments. No ice maker, but 2 ice trays you can fill up. There are some pots, pans, plates, glasses, cups, eating utensils & cooking utensils & some for the outdoor grill. I don’t believe I saw any bowls, So you might want to bring some. No dining table, only two stools at the bar/island. Hot tub was nice and I enjoyed the covered porch. There is a mattress in the loft, if you have 3 or 4 people. Loved throw blankets in the living area and a couple of blankets in the bedroom wardrobe drawer. Has some coat hangers in the closet. There are towels for the hot tub as well as bath towels and wash cloths. There is not a hair dryer, so you’ll need to bring one if you will need it. There was some shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower in big containers so I’m not sure if that is usually provided or if it was left behind by the previous person. There was also some hand soap in pump bottles in the bathroom and the kitchen and some soap bars in the bathroom. No dishwasher, but dish drain & soap provided & laundry soap for you to start the load of towels & cooking spray, salt & pepper & some chili and lime(?) seasoning. Not water front or water view. A few books and dvds there. Genre unknown. 1 game, checkers,/chess maybe. Didn’t see wildlife, but heard birds.
