The Perfect Stowe Vacation Home With EV Charging For Your Year-Round Getaway

Our beautiful home in Stowe, completely renovated and designed to evoke vernacular Vermont architecture, is fully equipped for your perfect year-round mountain vacation.
Located on five acres in the serene Stowe Hollow area, the house has lovely views of Mount Mansfield, and is a quick walk to one of Stowe's most spectacular hiking trails.
Just a short drive from the center of picturesque Stowe Village, restaurants, shops, local breweries, mountain biking trails, and the Mansfield and Spruce ski and resort areas, our home has excellent access to all the various activities that the Stowe area has to offer.
The house is impeccably outfitted to accommodate ten guests, and laid out to afford privacy and convenience for two families travelling together. The house includes a Vestibule for your coats, shoes and boots; Ski Room with exterior access for convenient storage of your sports equipment; five Bedrooms and three full Bathrooms; Den with TV; Laundry Room; a Deck for grilling, hanging out, and enjoying the views; and a Great Room with Gourmet Kitchen, Sitting Area with fireplace, and Dining Area - the perfect "family circle" space to relax and enjoy with your group after a fun-filled day of exploring and adventures.
In addition, for the convenience of our guests driving electric vehicles, there is one EV charging station in the garage with a 240V 50A NEMA 14-50 outlet. Guests who wish to use the charger need to bring their own cable.

Excellent Stay!

We stayed at Casa Stowe over Presidents Day week. We have been going to VT over this week annually for years and this was by far the best VBRO property we have stayed at. The hosts were SO responsive, attentive and thoughtful. Casa Stowe is set in an idyllic location in Stowe and was a short drive to all of our destinations. The home is beautifully maintained and was a warm and inviting home base after a long day of skiing. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful cozy home

My friends and I had the best time at Casa Stowe! The house is beautiful and perfect for a group. It has amazing light, a huge comfortable living room great for socializing, and a gorgeous kitchen perfect for cooking. It is just 10 minutes from downtown Stowe and close to the mountains. We would love to come back!

Wonderful stay!

Casa Stowe exceed our expectations for our Vermont trip! The house is impeccable, beautifully maintained, with thought and care put into every corner of this home. The views are fabulous and the home is so cozy and welcoming. Ileana and Jonathan were so helpful and communicative. We stayed there for a weekend away to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday and she and the rest of us were beyond thrilled with this home. We hope to return again!

Long weekend with friends

We are 7 college friends who’ve been skiing together once a year for a long time and have rented lots of houses. This was easily the nicest and felt more like staying at one of our own houses than a rental. It’s beautifully maintained, incredibly well stocked and in an amazing location. Hope to get back soon. Perfection near Stowe Pinnacle

Casa Stowe is a perfect vacation home for family and friends. It is comfortable, immaculate, beautifully designed, and has everything you need. We had never stayed in this neighborhood prior to this but quickly fell in love. The home has spectacular views of the valley and Mt. Mansfield/Spruce Peak and is located very close to beautiful hiking trails. Our trips to the mountain to ski or into town were easy and quick. I have nothing negative to say about this property! We look forward to staying there again!

My friends and I had a wonder stay at Casa Stowe! Not only is this home situated on a lovely property with beautiful views, it is also a very spacious, comfortable and accommodating home. The decor and furnishings are spot on! Ileana was an excellent host - extremely communicative and responsive! After an expected snowfall fall she had the driveway sanded right away for us! The property manager was also very helpful and accommodating! Highly recommend

Just perfect

Could not have picked a better place to stay during our long weekend ski trip to Stowe! The property is beautiful, clean had everything we could ask for. The owner, Ileana, was a fantastic host and very communicative. We loved the well stocked kitchen with utensils, pans and dinnerware as well as the wine fridge! Just a short drive to Spruce Peak lodge, the house also features a mud/locker room downstairs which is well designed for hanging up skis, poles, wet clothes and boots. The ideal ski getaway with beautiful views of the mountains. Just be careful driving up the driveway on icy days, some of our cars had trouble - all wheel drive def recommended.

Best vacation rental experience ever!

Our group of 10 stayed at Casa Stowe for five days / four nights over Presidents Day Weekend (4 adults, 6 teenagers ages 13-17). Over the last several years, we have rented lots of places through Airbnb and VRBO and I can say, with absolute certainly, this was the best vacation rental experience we have ever had. From the moment we walked into the house, it was abundantly clear that our hosts take great pride in and amazing care of their home - it’s absolutely beautiful - and it seems like they thought of EVERYTHING! Seriously, we were able to locate anything and everything that we could possibly need to make our stay perfect. It felt very welcoming and seemed like our hosts were really vested in us having an exemplary experience. Our hosts were extremely communicative and, throughout the entire rental process, they responded immediately to any questions or requests that we had. Overall, our party had the best time skiing, exploring and shopping in Stowe, eating out a great restaurants, and just hanging out in Casa Stowe's great room by the fireplace. In fact, the fireplace is incredible - we had fires every night and there is a giant round table and wrap around sofa in front of the fireplace - perfect for playing cards/board games (and drinking wine). Next time we come back to Stowe, I will do my best to rent this property again!

Clean, very comfortable and perfect location

The owners and property managers were easily accessible and made the in-processing effortless. The house is modern and nicely set up for extended family. The owners provided all the necessities without feeling like you were infringing on someone's home, well appointed. Very pleasant and will come back.

Awesome Stay!

We had such a great time at this home! First off the home is beautiful with an awesome view of Stowe! My family of 4 and our friends (family of 4) stayed there for the week and it had everything we needed! The property manager Erin was able to accommodate an earlier arrival time and Ileana (home owner) was so friendly and helpful with Everything!! Again, we all loved the home!! 2 mudrooms, beautiful kitchen and family room with working fireplace. We had such a fun and relaxing week staying here! I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in exploring Stowe.

Ideal Ski Weekend

If you are considering where to stay for a group ski trip, look no further! Our group of 10 had the perfect ski weekend staying at Illeana and John's house! The location is ideal for getting into town and going skiing - with easy access to grocery stores, bars and restaurants. Illeana and John were great hosts, the check in process was easy and they were available to answer any questions. The house itself is great too! The bedrooms are all comfortable and offer quiet and privacy away from the main living space. The kitchen / dining / living room was an ideal "great room" where everyone could sit by the fire and hang out together. Our whole group really enjoyed it and are already planning to come back next year!

Stowe Christmas Vacation

The stowe cabin was perfect for our extended family with children during the holidays! The house was spotless and in mint condition. The home is a quick and easy drive to the mountain resort where we spent 5 solid days skiing. We were able to enjoy day long skiing, shopping in Stowe, and dinners at home considering the fantastic cook's kitchen! No tv in the main living room encouraged the kids to stay downstairs while watching tv or electronics but made for great game time for the entire family! The house is very well equipped and comfortable, private, and convenient to town. We would have enjoyed more time to appreciate the unique shops in Stowe, restaurants, and nearby Waterbury. We will be back!

My husband was born in New York and raised in New Jersey; I was born in Cuba and grew up in "La Isla Del Encanto," Puerto Rico. We met at Georgia Tech's Architecture School, moved to NJ after graduation, and have had our own Architectural Firm there for over thirty years. We have two sons, ages 30 and 26, both graduates of Dartmouth College. Our older son lives in California with his wife and Berniedoodle puppy, and the younger in Colombia, respectively. No grandchildren yet, but hopefully, one day we will have some running around the property and enjoying many Stowe adventures.

Why they chose this property

In 1985, after years of driving to Stowe for ski vacations all the way from New Jersey, our dad decided to purchase a home rather than continue to rent. Twenty four years later we purchased it from our three siblings, completely renovated it, and outfitted it to meet our family's needs .

Our two sons and many of their friends grew up coming here. This is where they learned to ski, snowboard, hike, and mountain bike. This is where they developed a great love for the outdoors, fresh mountain air, and healthy living. This is where our older son chose to ask the love of his life to marry him. This has been our Paradise-Home away from our Full-Time-Home for over thirty years.

Now that our sons are grown and moved away to the West Coast and South America, some of our Stowe time will be taken up travelling to see them. Therefore, we have decided to open up our home so that visitors to Stowe may enjoy all the beauty and wonderful experiences that abound in the area. We hope that you choose to stay in our home and that you love it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

We love everything about our Stowe home - the location; the hiking trails down the road; the views; the babbling brook that flows behind our bedroom; the layout which makes it easy and comfortable to use by two people or two families sharing time together; the Great Room, where our family has spent so many happy occasions; and the deck, where we often lay on our backs at night gazing at the star-filled Vermont sky.
