Had a wonderful stay! Place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great weekend away. The bed is super comfortable and the location is perfect for good food and exploring the area. Don’t miss Blue Hound BBQ for a great meal while you are there!
Took our grandkids and used this as our Base Camp. Went exploring the mountains and near by towns. Did some 4X4 off roading in BoBo’s Navigator that included a River ford that we didn’t know about. Lincoln would be proud of there off roading capabilities. Be careful using GPS but it will be the best memory for all of us. Thanks again. The Powers Family.
The home was very welcoming my wife and I felt very much at home there. Quick response from the owner who was very gracious. We would stay there again.
This property was perfect! The waterfalls on the property were a great touch- location to area hiking was also stellar. The cabin had plenty of extras for cooking. Can’t wait to come back
If you are wanting to get away from it all, this is your place, peaceful and quiet except for the sounds of nature and your own little waterfall. We loved it and will definitely be back.
Beautiful pet friendly house. Great location to local small towns & trail heads. We traveled with 3 dogs. Our dogs are well traveled & go with us hiking. Yard was well kept. Very short walk to the natural waterfall on the property. Highly recommend!!
During our last stay, I noticed the stove needed to be cleaned. We usually take meals from home that can be cooked. The odor from the oven was quite strong. From the looks, it had not been cleaned in quite some time. I am sure that Derek has pest control, but we saw a lot of tiny roaches in the kitchen. They could have come from a previous vacationer. We bought some bug sray (the one there was empty) and that did help. Other than those items, the stay was great. We will see you in August.
My partner and I had a wonderful trip to Rabun Gap and the surrounding area at the end of July. The property was beautiful and the perfect stay for my family with two dogs. The surrounding area is picturesque, with the peaceful sounds of the waterfall on the property. I would stay here again!
