Great host, very communicative and friendly. If you’re looking for a secluded, dog-friendly place, that has everything else you need, give this location a try. So cute and fell in love with the porch up in the trees. Hot tub was very nice perk after hiking, too. Our dog enjoyed it, as well.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. This cabin was absolutely unacceptable. We walked into a rental with an overpowering, suffocating musty odor, black grime on the floors, dusty surfaces, and plumber’s glue globbed onto the bathroom fixtures. This was NOT the clean, comfortable vacation rental any family should expect. The odor was so unbearable that we left at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday rather than continue staying there with our babies. As parents, we will NEVER apologize for putting children first. Our babies deserved a clean, comfortable environment, not a cabin that left us questioning whether it was appropriate to keep them there. We spent our vacation dealing with stress and concerns instead of making memories as a family. That is completely unacceptable. And the host? Her attitude made an already terrible experience even worse. Instead of showing basic compassion or taking our concerns seriously, she blamed the smell on plumbing work and the wooded location. She was extremely unkind and actually accused us of violating the pet policy because our dog jumped on the couch. The audacity to focus on that while dismissing our serious concerns about the property says everything about how this situation was handled. We are also left dealing with a damaged Pack ’n Play that we believe was affected by the odor. The condition of this cabin and the host’s treatment of our family were beyond disappointing. We deserved basic cleanliness, professionalism, and respect. We re

Oh, I see you have included new, never-before-seen photos just for your review; how dishonest & underhanded of you…your true colors are shining through! Could you not be any more transparent as to what you are?
It’s so funny when a scammer thinks they have the perfect-fool-proof-sure-to-get-a-refund creative complaint. What great entertainment! Bravo to these scammers for attempting the most predictable scams in the vacation rental playbook! After 19+ years and 12 properties, I thought I had seen it all. But this one had a different twist: a photo of a foot.. Yep…A FOOT
They kicked off their vacation by sending me a beautifully framed portrait of a dirty bare foot sole to insist the floors were "filthy." Wanting to call their bluff, I IMMEDIATELY OFFERED TO SEND SOMEONE TO INSPECT & RECLEAN RIGHT THEN & THERE. SUDDENLY, ABSOLUTE SILENCE. NO REPLY. Nothing until the next day. Why the delay? Because when a host offers immediate proof & a physical inspection of a pristine, freshly cleaned & mopped cabin, a scammer needs time to regroup for their next move.
When I saw the bottom of that foot, I just had to know (lol) if that could be accomplished alone….. I went to full Detective Columbo mode & tried to take that exact photo of my own foot. Verdict? Unless your knee joints bend backward and you can hold a camera with your ears, it is anatomically impossible. This was a two-person family conspiracy. All the while I was holding an ace up my sleeve: time-stamped photos & a video, 2 hours before their arrival, showing the floor was still wet & sparkling clean as the housekeeper mopped herself right out the front door. So, I just secretly held to them because I know the pattern of scammers…contacting VRBO will be their next move.
You spent your vacation dealing with stress? Oh, no. You spent your vacation auditioning for a free vacation. You had better believe I have the "audacity; to stand my ground & I have absolutely no intention of showing kindness or compassion to people like you, now or ever.
Let's clear up my lack of kindness & compassion right now! You clearly got caught red-handed violating the Pet Policy. You claim your dog merely "jumped up on the couch.’ OMG YOU HAVE YOUR PHYSICS IN REVERSE. Your dog was fast asleep, living his best life, napping on my couch, when the housekeeper walked in; he jumped down to greet her. You know, the ACTUAL WAY GRAVITY AND DOG LOGIC WORK. LOL I should have thrown you all out on your keisters right then and there.
The absolute crown jewel of your comedy routine is the "damaged Pack ’n Play" that was supposedly "affected by the odor." Is that really the best you can do? After 7+ years of owning this cabin, & somehow this mysterious, phantom smell chose to lie dormant all those many years, only to magically appear exclusively waiting for your arrival. You even claimed a strong gas smell in a fully electric cabin.
But hey, thank you for bringing up that phantom smell—you completely played yourself. Your sad sob story that you fled after the first night because of your children’s safety was proven a lie; you were there on day 3... SECURITY CAMERAS DON’T LIE!
It’s always hilarious to see the lengths guests will go to for a free vacation. These scammers soon learned I was not buying what they were selling, so they started calling VRBO. One time? OH NO, OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK, BEGGING FOR MONEY!! The image in my mind of them calling over & over with brand-new lies —while housekeeping's 20+ time-stamped photos and video just sat there waiting to destroy their case—was absolute perfection & priceless. VRBO’s verdict, same as mine--ZERO REFUND to these scammers! Now, what? I revenge review full of lies, of course!
Next time you vacation, try saving up for it instead of trying to get a free one on the host's back. Imagine trying to scam a host whose housekeeper always takes time-stamped photos/videos. Only the Big Toe Bandit would try that!! Thanks for the laugh.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was perfect for us and our dogs, quiet and secluded. Plenty to do within a reasonable distance is why we chose it.
Quaint cozy cabin in a quiet area. Plenty of games and movies provided for entertainment if you bring kids. Close to Pigeon Forge for entertainment and restaurants. Cabin was clean, could smell the pine sol when we arrived but it aired out quickly. Overall, we enjoyed our long weekend here!
We stayed for 6 nights. The cabin is as described. The homeowner was very responsive to make sure we had all we needed. The porch was really enjoyable. Location is perfect to explore the area.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Saw a bear running across the driveway. Location was great. Close to attractions but still enjoyed the quiet of the mountains.
We were very happy with Country Love Song cabin. It was very cozy and convenient. The owner is truly special as well. We definitely recommend this cabin!
