Our stay at berry hill lake was perfect!! We especially enjoyed walking the trails throughout the property and hanging in the hot tub while taking in the views of the lake and tree line. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Would love to stay again!

This was our second visit to Berry Hill Lake and certainly won’t be the last. Amazing property, great house, great amenities, and a super-responsive and nice hosts. Cannot say enough about the experience, we can’t wait to get back!

This house was truly incredible. It was every thing that was described and more. The beds were very comfortable. The pool and hottub were used nonstop. The lake was so fun for kayaking and fishing. There were also so many hiking trails, easy ones for everyone, and challenging ones for the more athletic. We had a great time!! We would definitely return!

Had the best long weekend at Berry Hill Lake celebrating the end of summer and my 40th birthday. The home is so beautiful and the property had something for everyone to be entertained, relaxed, and fulfilled. We enjoyed fishing at the dock, swimming in and floating on the lake, and cannot say enough about the gorgeous infinity pool, hot tub, and landscaping. The sleeping arrangements were great for our group of 7 couples… boys to the bunk house and girls stayed in the main house! Hoping to go back ASAP!

My family had a wonderful time at Berry Hill Lake! The hot tub was perfect for our chilly weekend stay. The hosts were available for questions and were prompt in their response. We had everything we needed and would love to visit again when the weather warms up to enjoy all the amenities for the lake!

I hesitate to write such a glowing review, but I fear the secret is out anyway. This house was amazing. The owners have done such an incredible job with the property. The lake has all the toys you would want. The infinity pool was breathtaking, especially at night. The house itself was well-stocked with everything, Reed, the property manager, was probably the most responsive manager we've ever interacted with, responding right away via text. 10/10, no notes, will definitely be back (if it's not booked solid!).

We had such a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect — close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. This is an absolutely magical property. Perfect for our family Thanksgiving with a wide range of ages from 3-83. We loved the hiking trails, hot tub, outdoor fire, beautiful views, and the feeling of peace and privacy. It is the best vacation property we have ever rented. We can’t wait to come back!

Rich and Reed were extremely responsive. The house was stunning. The kids loved the hot tub/pool, we used the outdoor fire place every single night and the vibe was amazing. We had the best time and will definitely be coming back (if they’ll let us ;)).

Great family vacation spot!

Had a great week with the extended family at this wonderfully designed and kept property. Located in beautiful central Virginia, the surroundings are amazing. I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay there again.

We always enjoy Berry Hill Lake. This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint. The upgrades to the pool and surrounding area are well done and add the enjoyment of the property. The fish are always biting and the private hiking trails always make for fun family adventures.
These guys are easy to catch on night crawlers or plastic lures.
We couldn’t land these monsters, but there are at least eight of them that swim within casting distance of the dock.

This home is perfect for a large family! The details did not go unnoticed! Nicely stocked kitchen with cookware and appliances.Each bath included essentials, just in case you forgot some of your own! The hot tub was a great escape after a long day on the slopes! The infinity pool makes us want to come back in the summer to be able to enjoy it. Everything was absolutely gorgeous! And to top it off, the host was exceptional! Will definitely be back!

Our stay at the Berry Hill Lake property was awesome. The home is beautiful and well maintained. The owner/property manager was very responsive. I wish there were more pictures of the Bunk House in the listing. The bunk “house” is actually a converted shipping container which our group thought was pretty cool. Theres a nice deck on top of it too with lounge chairs. The bunk house is also further away from the main house than originally anticipated. A short walk through the woods. Wasn’t an issue for us but just something that could be more clear in the property description.

We had one of the best times as a family at this amazing property. The host was very accommodating and an excellent communicator. The property was next level, very well thought out. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. My whole family (5 boys, ranging from 21 to 11) loved the property. Everyone!!! Can't wait to return someday…
