We thoroughly clean and wash all bedding and towels between each stay. We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces as well (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in!

The cabin and location are beautiful! Very quiet and peaceful. Our primary purpose for the trip was to visit the Biltmore and the location was perfect.

This time of year the Biltmore offers its candlelight holiday tours. A great time to visit! Glad you enjoyed.
Great home base for our visit! We hiked the property and many trails in the area. Golf and great times on Lake Lure rounded out the vacation. This was our second stay at this property and we’ll certainly consider it again if we return to the area.
It was our third summer staying at the property. Location is great and house is exactly as advertised and shown in pictures.

Great experience here
Great house and great owners who rent the place out. We had an amazing weekend there and the owners were very friendly and immediately returned the deposit. Thx for letting us stay Sherri!
Black Mountain and the surrounding area is gorgeous. We loved the cabin and all the amenities it had to offer. The only negative was the road up to the cabin was terrible and our car took a beating.

Thank you for the review. Just to clarify, not sure what is meant by ‘car beating’ other than the car getting very dusty. There is a 1.5 mile gravel road to the property that is graded monthly. it is very safe and the nature paradise is worth it! Hope you can make a return trip.
The cabin was perfect for what we needed. The location is a little tricky to get to but once there is was nice and quiet and offered a lot of amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. We also used what looked like a brand new grill to cook on site. We would definitely stay there again in the future.
We had a great time at the high rock preserve. The kids and dogs enjoyed playing in the creek and the trails on the property were very convenient. The house had everything we needed, including games for the kids. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
This listing is just as advertised, a beautiful mountain cabin. The property has some nice short trails. Each floor has its own bedroom and bathroom, giving each person plenty of space. If we make it back to Black Mountain we would definitely stay here again!
This was our second stay at this cabin and we again were pleased. Always clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the trail, views, fire pit, and tire swing. The property manager is amazing and very responsive. It’s a “fun” mountain drive up, but worth it.
Awesome time! The Highrock preserve was perfect for my family vacation. The views were amazing. Plenty of space and close enough to grocery stores, black mountain shops, restaurants and blue ridge parkway. Would most definitely come again.

Family Fun Weekend!
We had an AWESOME time this weekend!! We absolutely love Black Mountain and High Rock Preserve. We enjoyed downtown Black Mountain, tubing and our trip to the Pisgah Brewery. Can't wait to return!!
My family and I stayed here to have some r and r over the summer. It was absolutely perfect and we were so delighted with the cabin which is very secluded. If you love nature, and having your own hiking trails and access to mountain creeks (cold and clean water!), this is the place. We will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful time at the house. The game room was so fun and it was nice to have room for everyone to spread out and relax. The walking trails were great for the dog and there was a ton of fauna to enjoy. Right by the house was jewelweed, sassafras, plantain, wild blueberries, blackberry bushes, and rhododendron! We loved it and hope to return soon.

My husband and I have 4 children ages 22 - 35 and live in South Florida. We have vacationed in western NC for over 25 years where my parents have a home.
Why they chose this property
We chose this location in Black Mountain because it's a very quaint town with great restaurants and so close to the city of Asheville with airport, universities and culture events.
What makes this property unique
What we love best about our property is that we are located in the mountains surrounded by nature but have the luxuries of home and only 10 minutes to the grocery store and other amenities.
