Frequently asked questions:
1. Is the hot tub currently open? Yes, it is! We clean and chlorinate it daily.
2. Does each cabin have its own hot tub? No, we have one hot tub rated at a 7 person capacity but 4 is most comfortable. The hot tub is situated centrally away from the cabins and is sunk into the ground and landscaped for a private feel.
3. Does the kitchen have everything I need to cook? Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Everything you need to prepare a meal! There are also two gas grills on site for guest use. And have a number of oils and spices in the cabins for your use!
4. How far are the cabins from downtown Bozeman? We are situated 10.2 miles from downtown Bozeman. Allow 20 to 25 minutes to arrive. 10-15 minutes to reach the Target/Walmart Costco.
5. Do I need 4WD to get to the cabins? 4WD is definitely not necessary to get around. Most of the roads are paved and the county keeps things well plowed in the winter. However, if you are not used to driving in snowy weather, AWD will make it much easier on you, but 2WD will also get you around just fine. However, snow tires do make a big difference.
6. How far from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort? We are abut 27 miles from Bridger Bowl. 40 minute drive.
7. How far from Big Sky Ski Resort? We are about 63 miles from Big Sky. About 1.5 hour drive.
8. How far from Yellowstone National Park? West Yellowstone West entrance is 102 miles. 2-2.5 hr drive. Gardiner, North Entrance is 90 miles away. 1.5 hr drive.
9. How far from the Airport? The airport is 10 miles via Airport Rd - Springhill Rd to Rector Rd. 15-20 minute drive.
10. How far to grocery store and restaurants? Bozeman and Belgrade both offer these services and both are about a 20 minute drive.
11. Which cabin is best for a family? Cabins 1 and 3 offer the most room with a separate bedroom. The other 3 cabins are studios with bed and sleeper couch in the same room. (See photos)
12. Which cabin is most private? All the cabins are situated to provide a private feel. They are spaced about 150 - 200 feet apart and are orientated not to be in each others view-shed. Having said that, cabin 5 is at the end of the line.
13. Do I need to bring firewood for the stove or the fire-pit? No. The stoves in the cabins are gas and we provide wood for the fire-pits.
14. Do I need to bring charcoal for the grills? No, the grills are propane grills and we supply the propane.
15. Can I have my small wedding or elopement here? (I am quiet and respectful!)
No. We have a very strict no wedding, ceremony, or elopement policy due to covenants.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to their cabin as well as either of the two fire-pit/patio areas and the hot tub.
The Neighborhood:
Downtown Bozeman and Belgrade are both about 10 miles away, with plenty of stores, microbreweries, and restaurants to choose from. Hike in almost any direction right from the front door, and drive 40 minutes to reach Bridger Bowl Ski Resort.
Getting Around:
We recommend that guests rent a car. We are about 10 miles from Bozeman, and using Uber can be very expensive.
Other Things to Note:
We have a very strict NO WEDDING, ceremony, or elopement policy due to our local covenants.

It was awesome. The host goes out of their way to make your stay extremely pleasant. All of the fun little touches, the decor, the accomadations are outstanding. We couldn't be more pleased and the views of the mountains are stunning. We will definitely go back. !
The host, the cabin and the area were all fantastic. We loved the cabin's proximity to town and hiking. We are already discussing when we can come back.

The cabin is so gorgeous! Such a beautiful property with stunning views. Check-in was a breeze, communication with the hosts has been great, and the cabin is so homey with so many personal touches, both big and small. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
This cabin was absolutely amazing! From the view down to the little details inside. We loved how homey and cozy this stay was. The community hot tub and little pub shed on property was such a nice touch. Skiing at the bridger bowl was about 30 minutes away. A great place for my daughter to take ski lessons. Big sky was about an hour away and was a great experience. West Yellowstone was about 2 hours away and was a great place to explore and take a tour through the national park. Sad to leave!
The property, amenities, and services were absolutely amazing. I loved every second of our stay and can’t wait until next time. If y’all are headed to town, most definitely stay here, you won’t regret it.
We had Ana amazing trip. The cabin was so perfect and had everything we needed. Amazing views and great hosts. The pump house was a great bonus! Great location and proximity to Bozeman, Bridger bowl and big sky. We will definitely be back!!
We stayed in Cabin #1. Our experience was Amazing. We were so cozy and the view was unbelievable.
Our experience renting this cabin was super easy. When we arrived it was so cozy and very clean. I would definitely recommend this property to other friends and family for their vacation to Montana. This place is absolutely Beautiful
We sayed one night at the ross creek cabins and after a long flight to bozeman, we were thrilled with the cabin as a sanctuary to decompress. The cabin was well maintained and very orderly and the property was great with beautiful views. We would absolutely recommend!
Can’t say enough good things about this place/cabin! First off the views were stunning. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and has great amenities. They definitely put extra care in making your stay the exceptional. Very close to the airport. We would return 10/10.
This property was amazing, we also ran into Karen our last morning there and she was the sweetest! We got the “at home” feel our entire stay! I am originally from Montana and know about the beauty and hospitality it brings. But this was all around an amazing stay! We will be back!!
The cabin was very cutely decorated. Land spacing was cute. They had a little shared building with beer and cider. Amazing little find. Would recommend 10/10.
The pictures do not do this location justice. It was absolutely perfect. With a late arrival with less than ideal travel delays, arriving at the cabin that was so warm and cozy was just wonderful. I can’t wait to book it again during the summer or fall!
My husband and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon and it was just perfect! The cabin was beautiful, had everything we needed and stayed nice and warm! The view of the mountains was incredible. It was a quick drive into bozeman, close to the airport and easy day trips over to Big Sky. They also had a bag of chocolates there for us for our honeymoon which was just the sweetest. The perfect retreat!
What can we say that others haven’t said already? Anything and everything one could need or want for a stay in the mountains of Montana was thought through by the hosts of Ross Creek Cabins. We generally have high standards as far as accommodations go and we were so impressed with every single detail. There ’s just too many to list individually. Everything screamed “tasteful and quality” we were in total awe. Incredibly comfortable and we will 100% be returning. This place has just completely raised the bar, we can’t wait to return.
This was our final destination in a long-awaited trip to Yellowstone. It could not have worked out better. The cabin was beautiful, decorated perfectly, and met all of our needs. The location, while remote, was within a short distance to downtown shopping and the Bozeman airport. The managers were on-sight, friendly, helpful, and willing to do whatever was needed for our stay. All things considered we could not have made a better choice!
We have never been wowed like this before. The cabin was awesome, the view was absolutely beautiful and the attention to all the little details in the cabin left us speechless. They supply you with a lot of things most done, including binoculars, coffee, creamer, even a Bose speaker. We were absolutely blown away. Highly recommend
This may have been the most magical place my husband and I have stayed. The property was just incredible, the cabin itself was clean and beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches (pre-packaged coffee and snacks, robes and flip flops for the hot tub to name a couple). The Pump House was so unique and such a good addition to bringing guests together. But honestly, nothing can beat that view of the mountains. We got to see snow, a wonderful sunset, and sunrise.
The proximity to the airport (15-20min) and downtown Bozeman (20ish min) was so convenient.
I would absolutely come back here and stay again and highly recommend to anyone considering these cabins!
