Sleeping up to 15 guests, this home is perfect for multi-generational family vacations, large groups of family or friends, and even business retreats. Emerald Shores Villa is 5 bedrooms, four bathrooms with two king size beds, three queen size beds, and a “dorm room” on the lower level.

The house is great for a big family or several families. The host provides more than the usual items, such as coffee, coffee extras, s’mores items, plus plenty of cooking essentials and plates,utensils, etc. The views are beautiful and the screened in porch is huge and very relaxing. It’s nice that 4 bedrooms are on the main floor if you have someone that has trouble with stairs. We highly recommend and would stay there again!

Tons of comfortable places to sleep. Nice open living areas for our large group. Home is stocked full of all the utensils, serveware and cookware you could ever need! Very clean. We are very happy with our stay and would stay there again!

Graduation Gathering

We enjoyed our stay! There were plenty of rooms and beds to accommodate our family and extended family to celebrate my daughter's graduation. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view of the lake is beautiful and relaxing from the screened-in porch. The home exceeded our expectations.

Spacious and well-stocked lakehouse

The house is located on a beautiful lake with a convenient dock. The house itself is spacious with plenty of room. The space is well-decorated making it feel homely, and the kitchen is stocked with utensils and cookware, making it easy for cooking. We loved enjoying the lake in the day then having dinner on the screened-in patio or down on the dock. Really great house and highly recommend!

Family Days on the Lake

The house worked well for our stay. With 5 kids and their families we were able to have several card parties going in the evenings. Our float on the Elk river and water fun at the back of the property were wonderful activities for the multi generation group. The marina was esp. helpful. Thank you for a wonderful time. R and J

golf trip

House worked out well for our trip. The neighborhood takes a lot of turns to get in and out. Easy access to the lake from the house. Nice fire pit. For a guys golf trip, the max the house could probably handle is 10-12 since the main bedrooms are expected to hold two people in the same bed. The multi bed room worked out, but probably more appropriate for kids vs a bunch of old guys like us.

Family Room!

Beautiful property, plenty of room for 5 couples and sone teens. Everything you could want and decorated perfectly. Thick towels and TP! Comfy beds and pillows! A bit of a hike to and back from the water but we spent tons of time on the deck and in the lake. Very quiet and peaceful location. Great time had by all in our family, cooked all our meals in large kitchen and thankful ly two refrigerators! And of course the Swalvo’s are the best! Highly recommend this home for your group and the kid’s loved it! Did I mention the hot tub? Big hit with everyone!

Twenty Second Annual Reunion of College Friends beyond 65+

Perfect place for 6 guys to hang out and catch up with an outstanding kitchen for preparing meals. We like to cook and eat well. View of lake and location in general was perfect.

Best weekend ever!

We stayed here for my bachelorette weekend, as the last one in my friend group to get married, we had a lot of tired mama’s that needed to get away from our collective 39 children. It was better than we ever imagined. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, time in the hot tub, and floating on the water in the cove. We spent one evening in Bentonville for dinner, which was just a short drive. All in all, we will find a time to come back. It was amazing.

Wonderful Stay

This is a wonderful property in beautiful setting. The accommodations were perfect for a large family gathering. A couple small issues we encountered was the stove and microwave we’re a little glitchy. During a rain storm the evening before we left there was a small leak from the fireplace. None of these negatively impacted our stay but though I would include for the owners benefit. On the whole it was a perfect stay. Look forward to staying again.

Beautiful Home!!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home for the weekend and we all loved it! It was perfect for our big family, the kids enjoyed and loved the lake. All the kids stayed at the dorm room downstairs and they loved that it was separated from all the other rooms upstairs. We will definitely come back next year!!!

Very nice, clean and great view

House was exactly as described. The views of the lake from the large screened in deck were beautiful. Also, it was very nice to be able to go down to the dock and sit and relax. The coffee and tea station in the kitchen was really a nice little extra that you just have to see to appreciate. Overall a great stay.

Linda and Richard Swalve first met at a lake resort in California in the 1990s. They've been a team in business, and for life ever since. Having been married for 34 years and counting, they now have three grown children, and six grandchildren.

In 2012 they fell in love all over again, but this time with the beautiful Ozarks region that they now call home. They purchased their home in Northwest Arkansas in 2012, and in the past eight years, they have been acquiring both long term, and short term rentals in the area.

Richard and Linda enjoy traveling for work, and pleasure.
