Dear Rachel, Thanks for your review and opinion, but we are really surprised with this rating ( the lowest rate) which we consider totally inappropriate and unfair. We had no complaints during your stay about all those things you mention. You only notify us about the noisy parties on your last night. Our Customers Service manager asked you to let him know which villa it was, to try to speak with the owners or call the police in case (something really unusual since Cala Llonga is one of the most private and quiet residential areas on the island). But we had no reply from you, so we could do nothing (aside from the fact that we obviously have no responsibility for external issues that occur on other properties). We only have complaints from you about the rubbish on the street, again another issue for which we have no responsibility, given that the garbage collection system has been changed by the City Council, and each resident or tourist interprets it in their own way. But anyway we forwarded the complaint quickly to the Council, and they removed it. Finally, about the noise for the works in some buildings (and again a matter over which we have no control or responsibility), we were several times in Cala Llonga during your stay, the work was only being carried out a few hours a day and not on weekend. And not next to our house, but more than 500 meters far away !!. No customer of the season in VL has complained about this. In short, we are sorry that your stay was disappointing. We always read our customers' comments carefully to help us improve and offer a better service every day, but we are deeply bothered by unfair comments like yours (including that damaging rating!) that penalize us for issues completely outside our management, and do not reflect at all the stay in an exquisite villa, with unforgettable views over the port, and the quality of our customer service. Fortunately, the large number of repeat customers and favorable comments about VL speak of a very different experience. Kind regards Club Menorcaselect

Dear ian, we are very plased that you enjoyed your stay in our Villa Lantana, and the views to the Mahon harbour. All Cala llonga houses have 3 or 4 levels, and we have the boiler in the garage, so it need some minutes to warm it up. About the dishwasher, we came to check it, and thought was all ok, we did not have notice the follwing dates.
