Savor the sights and sounds of nature like deer, river otters, bald eagles fishing for salmon, wild mink, seals and sea lions.

Try beachcombing, hiking or birdwatching. For a great workout try kayaking on the placid clear waters or have an invigorating tennis game on site. Cool off in the huge 48x28' pool or relax in the spacious hot tub. You are also just minutes from golfing, kayaking, parks, hiking trails, whale watching salmon fishing. Enjoy a gourmet meal at Mahle House Restaurant just 15 minutes north or visit the English style pub, Crow And Gate.

We had a perfect view of the sea from our living room and balcony: soothing waves, sea birds, a brief whale sighting, and deep peaceful quiet. Watching the tides rise and fall, strolling the intriguing sandstone beach, with intertidal shell debris, crabs, starfish, oysters, and fascinating sea creatures fastened to every surface—it was marvelous and healing to be so far from the noise and chaos of the city, so immersed in nature…with all the comforts of home. The condo itself was lovely, clean, well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable beds, couches, and clear instructions for anything we needed onsite. We never swam in the pool, but it was heated and very nicely placed, with spectacular views. If we had kids, it would have been a highlight. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!

I was an awesome place to visit. Second trip to this complex. Well setup amazing location. Television could be upgraded to a smart TV, cable was marginal, for rainy days, and off for a few days. Maybe a bit better detail to cleaning. Overall excellent. Definitely will book again with Terry.

Beautiful location - right on the ocean. Great for two couples. Two nice bedrooms, each with a full bath. The two bedrooms are separated for privacy each with its own patio. Nice kitchen and living room. Highly recommend.

A wonderful week- peaceful and beautiful

We really enjoyed our week here. The property was uncrowded and easy to find off the main highway. The unit itself had all the items necessary for dining in and enjoying the area. The water view from the balconies was excellent. It had a gas fireplace that we did not use. It was cooler in the evening so we did not miss AC. I recommend- we would definitely stay again.

Excellent location!

This location is perfect for a get away. Ocean front property with an amazing view. We were able to watch large pods of seals play in the water in front of the building. It is very peaceful here. Would definitely rebook if heading back this way.

What a hidden gem.

Check in process was super easy. The welcome package the host emailed us was clear and concise to help us get there and find the resort. What an amazing view. You literally don't need to go anywhere else. Except for food that is but that's a short drive to the nearest convenience store.

That says how it really is!

We were told before that the condo was recently renovated. Still we were pleasantly surprised by the beautifull and very tastefull outfit of the apartment. High quality interiorfinishing and decor! Owner and manager of the little resort were very helpfull. The warmed swimming pool and hot tub in the little park were a bonus to the breathtaking vieuw from out the room and from the balcony. The condo is directly situated at the waterfront. We stayed 11 nights and would have liked to stay longer but had to take our plane to Holland.

Incredible View, Relaxing Property

This wasn't our first time staying at this unit, and it won't be our last! Everything you could need plus more. We enjoyed the views immensely, the weather was perfect, the grounds immaculate! You really don't need to bring much, they've thought of everything! We didn't find the dishwasher cleaned dishes very well so we washed ours by hand. The upstairs bed was noisy and not super comfortable, but not the worst we've had. The living room furniture is super comfortable though! We spent a lot of time on the deck watching seals, herons and hummingbirds! We will definitely be back!

Since retiring about 10 yers ago, we have been in the habit of spending a month or so away from Alberta winter weather, renting in the places we have visited. This place is FAR AND AWAY the best we have rented. Spotlessly clean, and absolutely well stocked with good quality dishes, cookware and flatware. stainless fridge stove and dishwasher give the unit a modern look. The queen bed is firm and we slept very well here! The condo has dark laminate floors everywhere except kitchen and baths, which have shiny attractive tile flooring. It looks great. Ding room skylight made the unit bright and airy. The best features of the unit are the windows, which span the entire living room, and you have a totally unobstructed view of the ocean from there as well as from the dining room and kitchen! Hard not to spend time with coffee in hand, just watching the ocean and it’s life! We saw eagles, and seals every day and orcas on two occasions, although they apparently were passing by at least two other times as well. Lots of ocean vessels, from herring fishing boats and nets to large tankers stationed in the strait. This place is fantastic! Within walking range is a nice park where you can explore the shore even more than you can right in front of the unit, and a few km away is a gentle 15 minute hike where you get right down to a sandy bay. If we get back to the Ladysmith or Nanaimo area, this is certainly where we would stay if we could!!

Beautiful gem of a property

I came with a friend for a two night getaway.Accommodations and location are stellar.We each had our own bedroom and bathroom which was extremely private. The kitchen is one of the best stocked I have experienced in a rental. The furnishings and beds were comfortable, and the ocean view and patio simply can’t be beat. We had planned on eating out for one meal, but didn’t want to leave our suite! Terry has done a fabulous job with the decor…top notch in every regard. Ssshhhh…don’t let the secret out! We can hardly wait to return to use the pool. Inn of the Sea is perfect in every way

We rented a condo suite in this resort for a few summers and fell in love with it. So, we begged someone to sell us this waterfront unit.

We have totally renovated to suit our taste, including artworks to reflect the waterfront theme. We welcome guests who share our enjoyment of this condo and who would treat it like their own home.

Why they chose this property

There are many units in this resort, and only a limited few are on the waterfront row. This unit has been renovated tastefully and furnished with high quality furniture.

What makes this property unique

You can choose to be very active on the beach, hiking, swimming, cycling, tennis etc., or just sit back in the leather rocking recliner to watch the view, with a glass of wine or coffee in your hand. Wake up to watch the dramatic sunrise from the front deck, or stroll along the waterfront to watch the romantic moon, listening to the music of the breeze at night.
