This lovely chalet is set in a beautifully kept park environment. It's a small, secluded site with only a few chalets which makes it nice and quiet. The views from the chalet are gorgeous. The accomodation is beautiful, and exactly as described. It is comfortable and very well equipped. The double bed is really comfortable, even my bad back liked it! Kim's information sheet covered everything I needed to know, and she was quick to answer when I texted a question. I would thoroughly recommend this chalet, with just one caveat - it is not very accessible for the elderly or infirm, the path from the car park to the chalet is hilly (it's Wales!) and the steps were a challenge for us, but if you're fit, then you're fine.
Situated on the Wales Coastal Path with great views over the Dyffi estuary this was an amazing location. The property was clean and tidy when we arrived. We took everything including the kitchen sink but need not have the kitchen was very well equipped, even the knives were sharp and there was all that we needed to prepare some lovely meals. The bathroom was clean, the plumbing worked and it had been kitted out to a high standard. The bedrooms were a little sparse but the bed was comfortable and we slept well.Very few negatives: the deck needs replacing it doesn't fit with the great interior. When it's wet the deck is very slippery, older people such as us need to take care.We spent 2 days walking the coastal path, amazing. Made use of the local bus routes and the train links, very good. Day 3 it rained hard but we had a very nice time in Machynlleth . Recommend the Hermit Crab cafe for great coffee and Gwynn for lunch. We successfully charged the EV at the main carpark and the parking meters allow you to use Paybyphone another plus. The Machynlleth Museum of Modern Art is well worth a visit. All in all a great mid week break and would be likely to go again at some point.
Beautiful location but let down by local amenities
Located very rural, was informed of a hotel with spa facilities near by only to find them shut. Also local pub 1 mile away was fully booked for food both days we tried to book and then closed Monday & Tuesdays. This information prior to arrival would have been useful.
The chalet was beautiful and had everything we needed although a squeeze with 4 of us. Yet says it sleeps 5! Outdoor seating area uncomfortable due to iron chairs and no cushions, also the table in need of a good clean. The chalet was spotless although the floor needed a good sweep!
A pack with information on arrival would be ideal.
Honestly had a lovely weekend away and just feel the little bits would have made it perfect.
Thank you
Beautiful location with great walks on your doorstep.
We had a lovely time and was fortunately met with some lovely weather.
The accommodation does the job and has been designed to a high level. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment to make cooking easy.
My only comment would be that a lot of the comments mention the property is rural however you are on a caravan/cabin site and this one is linked directly onto someone else’s. you are in the far corner and there weren’t many on the site staying there but I can imagine during peak times this isn’t the case.
Overall we had a lovely week. Thank you.
Had a lovely break here, such a nice chalet and the bi-fold doors are a real bonus. Nice location, and the centre of Machynlleth is only a 15 min drive away with everything you need.
Amazing stay in beautiful chalet, lovely views and an ideal location close to local amenities and things to do. The only problem was the manager had sent the check in details to me and they had gone into my junk email, no fault of hers but check your junk email before arriving bewildered on how to check in like myself, thankfully we located someone on site that was willing to help us also. Will definitely return as really good value for money compared to local prices on similar property. 5 star
We had a great time staying in this neat chalet overlooking the Snowdonia mountains and the Dyfi estuary. Great base to explore the southern Snowdonia and close to the beach. Waking up with sheep grazing just outside of our window and relaxing on the deck in the evening. We would absolutely recommend this lovely place.

A little disappointed
Absolutely loved the chalet as it had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable self-catering holiday and the new layout has obviously been thought through and worked very well. However, we were quite disappointed with the ‘deep’ cleanliness of it. On arrival it looked clean- floor, surfaces, beds were made etc: It just lacked a thorough clean:( there were layers of dust on most things hung on the wall and cobwebs down the side of the fridge/wardrobe. The double bed was comfy enough but the double bunk not so much as the mattress was quite lumpy. We also struggle to log onto the WiFi and after several attempts gave up :( A tip to other holiday makers would be to make sure to take plenty of supplies with you as amenities are at least a 15 minute drive away. Overall though we had a great holiday.
Lovely views and remote you could hide away from the world up here. Watched a storm over the valley. Very clean and tidy throughout. Will happily stay at again.
The Parkway chalet is an amazing place for retreat. There is quiet, greeny, and panoramic. It can be seen that the hosts put their hearts into the chalet. All details have been provided before arriving, except one tiny detail that Wi-Fi was strictly limited by 1Gb for the whole stay. Nevertheless, my two grown-ups, a teenage daughter and I would like to come back. We had a good time. Thank you.

On your own
Onced you part with your payment. If you have a query your on your own. No answer to emails and a curt response to any telephone call.
Nice area and good accom. But will not go again.
We had a good week especially with excellent weather and lots of things and places to explore in the area, the chalet was located in a quiet spot on the site but a couple of things we would note:
Outside space had not been cleaned recently, the table needed a complete clean and we had to to sweep the decking area, nettles growing up the steps etc
I think it would be really helpful for someone to put a £1 in the meter so there is electricity on arrival and the fridge and freezer all ready to use- the edges round the fridge were a little mouldy due to the door being closed
(When we booked we weren't expecting to pay for electricity )
Wi-Fi was intermittent, from Wednesday we used our mobile devices instead
Finally the grill pan was not very clean so we didn't use it while we were there

Amazing location, well renovated, poorly cleaned
1 Parkway is in an amazing location with stunning views over the Dyfi estuary and the southern mountains of Snowdonia. Good access to Aberdovey, Machynlleth, Dolgellau and Snowdonia.
The chalet has undergone a very well thought out renovation so although small works well. The problem is the cleaning, it had obviously not been cleaned properly, the work surfaces were dirty, there was mold in the fridge and we had to wash all the crockery and wipe shelves down. The owner expects you to do some cleaning before you go which is very difficult as the mop and bucket are sat outside rotting and the hoover didn’t suck up. Was really disappointed to have to spend valuable holiday time cleaning before we felt comfortable to use anything.

A lovely light and comfortable chalet.
This was our second stay in this lovely, modern and comfortable property. This time the sun shone every day , so we enjoyed it even more. this time! The large patio doors let in a lot of light and the wonderful views.
We would be happy to stay again.

Well equipped and in a beautiful location
We stayed at the chalet over Christmas 2016 and our first impression was good. The decor is simple and modern and clean but one disappointment was the mould stains on the duvet cover. The kitchen is well equipped. We made a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings with relative ease. We are lucky that we have a van large enough to transport our dining table and chairs because there isn't one at the chalet.
Everything in the chalet runs on electricity which is feed by a coined meter (£1) and we were very conscious of how much we were spending. If not careful this soon adds up. There is no log burner at the property.
To summarise, I'm not sure that the winter months are the best time to stay at the chalet.

Lovely break and fabulous accomodation
We had a lovely break in 1 Parkway Chalet. The chalet is very modern with everything you need. It is in a beautiful location with stunning views. We stayed for a long weekend (fri-mon) in October half-term and it was a lovely break for us, away from city life. We stayed with our 2 boys (11 and 14) and they had a great time. We visited Aberdyfi, Machynlleth and King Arthur's Labrynth - definitely worth a visit. Fishing and crabbing in Aberdyfi is a must and the local cafes serve delicious food and much needed hot chocolate. The pub in the local village, Pennal, serves delicious homemade, fresh food and definitely worth a visit. Communication from Kim from start to end was fantastic. Thanks so much for a lovely break.

Beautiful and quiet location
Property is very well presented with all the modern touches you need. The countryside around the property is beautiful and peaceful.
We were only there for 3 nights but this property gave us an ideal base to explore from, both close to the coast and accessible to all of the Snowdonia countryside.
