My family stayed at The Barn at Frog Hollow for my daughter‘s wedding at a nearby venue. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and found it to be the most well appointed rental home any of us had ever experienced. The house was very comfortable, great seating areas, comfortable beds, and the kitchen(s) had anything you could possibly need! The outside spaces are really lovely as well. The home has a lovely view with the sunrising over the mountains in the distance. Such a beautiful place to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee. We had rain showers in the morning following the wedding and it was so peaceful to sit out there under the tin roof!Linda was lovely to deal with and responded very quickly with any of our questions or needs. I would highly recommend staying at this property.
This property was perfect for our family! Beautiful views, huge property, great living space, comfy beds, lots of blankets, games, and extras for our whole family to have something to do and enjoy. Highly recommend!
The barn was nicely equipped with everything to make our stay cozy, easy and fun. Enjoyed making meals in the large kitchen, drink our morning coffee on the deck (what a view) campfires, and leisurely walks.
We had a wonderful stay! The barn was perfect for our big group. I highly recommend it. The scenery is absolutely beautiful!

Hello! I am originally from the Chicago area and have lived in several other states across the US. My love for travel began with road trips as a child, which eventually progressed into cruises & airline trips around the globe. I love visiting new places and especially the people I meet along the way!
To have a special place for guests to enjoy has been a goal of mine for decades. Since 2019, The Barn has accommodated hundreds of travellers from near and far. I am always open to meeting my guests but that is your chioce. Here, you have the opportunity to experience all that our area has to offer!
In my free time, I volunteer for a parrot rescue and a local songbird rehabber.
What makes this property unique
A little background about The Barn, what it was, and now what it is!
This Barn was originally built as a horse barn in the early 2000s. A small section was converted into a living space for the caretaker. After I purchased the property in 2016, my contractor David had a lot of work ahead of him to convert what he called *wild kingdom* into a lovely, comfortable home that was up to code. I lived here in the lower unit for 18 months while he then built my house. It is located to the far end of the property. That being said, I am an on-site host.
In 2019, I began renting the lower unit out and it was very successful, especially during Covid, as people wanted a private place to get away from crowds.
In 2022, it was time to expand into an additional space where we could sleep larger groups. The second floor was a hay loft which David had now turned it into another beautiful home. 1650sq ft , with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an open living space with spectacular view of the mountains. Plus, a big outdoor deck out back.
Combined with the ground floor unit, you now can sleep up to 15 guests in one place!!
This is why we are unique.
This area has several wedding & event venues, as well as rafting centers in the area. Many familes and groups of friends that want to stay together can now do just that. I hope that you will give this little piece of heaven a visit.
