About this property

Our 2 bedroom villa is located near the front entrance of La Torre Golf Course which is only 15 minutes drive from Corvera Airport and 50 minutes from Alicante Airport. It is located close to the supermarket, which is fully stocked, and a 5 minute walk to the resort town centre with all its restaurants, pubs, beauty salon, golf course and clubhouse. There is also a 5* Hotel on the resort with a gym and spa. Our pool (approx 6m x 3m) is for your private use and can be heated for all year use (£120 per week). There are also 20 communal pools, including some children's pools, around the resort, tennis and paddle courts, petanque and several children's playgrounds, all free of charge.

The property is air conditioned in the living room and bedrooms and for visits during the winter, the property also benefits from central heating.

This is a gated complex with 24 hour security and is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The roads are quiet and the tree lined pavements are perfect for taking a stroll. Having children ourselves, we have tried to cater for all family needs when looking for a holiday. We realise that keeping kids occupied is important on any holiday so we have five bikes, tennis rackets, a games console and movies for their use. We have two sets of men's, one lady's and one junior golf clubs at the villa so no need to bring your own or rent clubs out. In addition to the golf course at La Torre, there are numerous courses in the area to choose from.

You are only 15 minutes drive to the beaches of Mar Menor, 20 minutes to the numerous beaches of Costa Calida, 20 minutes to Cartagena city centre and 25 minutes to Murcia city centre. The local towns of Roldan and Balsicas have bus services and a train station which has a direct line to Madrid, Murcia and Cartagena.

The villa has a well equipped kitchen and outside is a large BBQ with a further BBQ pit on the solarium. The large solarium is great for catching the sun or relaxing at night around the fire pit.

The master bedroom has a double bed and TV. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, but a further single bed can be added if required.

There is a travel cot and high chair if needed. Please note that the slide pictured in one of the photos has been removed.

The internet is perfect for working abroad.

Excellent Family Summer Holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten days at this lovely villa. We had a really relaxing time, the weather was marvellous, we didn’t want to leave! The supermarket at the end of the road (2 min walk) which was really convenient, and the town centre with numerous bars and restaurants just a 5-10 minute walk. The whole Resort is stunning, would definitely come again!

Perfect stay

We had a really great stay here, everything was perfect. I was a little apprehensive beforehand due to the recent heatwave and also about staying in a golf resort which I thought might have been a bit sterile. I needn’t have worried. There is plenty of shade around the house along with loungers and comfortable outdoor chairs. The pool was great, always a lovely cooling temperature. So even with 32-35°C temps it was very pleasant. The house is very well equipped and syed remarkably cool, we only used the aircon on low to take the edge off the heat at night. The interior is very light and airy and the photos here don’t do it justice. We flew into Murcia which was very quiet for August so were through in no time as short passport queue, much better than Alicante. The resort was only a 15-20 min drive from the airport. The resort itself is immaculately kept and even in peak season didn’t feel crowded and was very peaceful. The spar was just a short walk away and was pretty good for most things, only a little more expensive than the bigger ones a few km away. The nearest resort pool also has some shady areas and was immaculately clean, not too busy and only a short walk to take your own chairs to sit on. There are some amazing local beaches nearby in mar menor which are not like big touristy ones and very popular with the locals. We especially liked los alcazares. Lynette couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. Thoroughly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay

Have just returned from a weeks stay in this lovely villa. Have been to this area many times,but our first stay at La Torra.The villa is in a great position,close to all the amenities ,in a quiet part of the resort. villa well equipped .The outdoor area has a good selection of lounges and seating to relax by the lovely pool. The owners a pleasure to deal with and give you all the information required. We hired a car to travel the area.but if you wanted you could stay on the resort and use the many facilities available there. Thank you for a lovely stay

Why they chose this property

The villa is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. With three children we have tried to provide what is needed for a family. Five bikes, wii, dvds and games to keep the children occupied letting the parents relax. There are also four sets of golf clubs (two men's, one lady's and one junior).
The villa is close to a well stocked supermarket. It is a short five minute stroll to the resort centre, which contains several restaurants, bars, a seasonal ice cream parlour and the golf clubhouse.
Air conditioned throughout and heated during the winter. The private pool can be heated for all year use.
The 5* hotel on the resort is 5 minutes walk and offers several restaurants. The hotel's indoor and outdoor pools and gym/sauna are available for our guests to use for a fee. Information can be obtained directly from the hotel.
