• It is time to unplug and leave your worries behind. Come for a weekend or week with your honey or your family. Once you get here, the hustle and bustle will be in your rear view mirror and the stress will melt away. Oh Be Joyful is tucked away in a private cove on Kerr Lake and is a perfect place to come and escape the everyday chaos. Located in Clarksville, Virginia, Oh Be Joyful's location is perfect for a quick trip from Raleigh/Durham - only 1 hour from North Raleigh or Durham, 1.5 hours from Holly Springs, 1 hour 45 minutes from Garner, 2 hours from Richmond and 3 hours from Charlotte. A short drive to the peaceful setting in the woods on Kerr Lake....miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
• The view from the expansive porch is beautiful, with a large yard area for playing yard games, the boat dock and lake are in plain view. The dock is a short stroll away and has room for chairs to sit and enjoy the sun and view, fish or bring your boat or water toys to explore the water.
• Longwood boat ramp is less than 8 minutes away, good for anyone coming for fishing and /or bringing a boat. The location on the lake is on a quiet cove off of channel off of the main open water but in less than 5 minutes out of the cove around the corner you reach the open water of the main lake. You can ski or tube in the channel or go out into the main water for more adventures or sightseeing.
• The kitchen has all the amenities you need and features a large island with 3 bar stools - nice for entertaining. There is also a dining table with seating for up to 10, The kitchen and dining are open to the living room with a Smart TV, DVDs, board games, books and puzzle books.
• Relax and have dinner on the table in the screened in porch in the evenings or sit by the fire at the fire pit with the provided skewers for marshmallow and hot dog roasting
• There are three bedrooms - The master with a king bed, the second with a queen and 4 twin beds and the third with a double bed along with two full baths. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the family room. Charcoal and Blackstone grills for your use as well (please clean after use! and please let us know asap if fuel runs out).
• Bathing towels and bedding are provided. We do have some beach towels but encourage you to bring your own. Kitchen is well equipped for a group of 12. House has heat and air conditioning.
• Guests will have the run of the home with the exception of the master closet, the attic, and the crawl space below the home. All other areas are accessible.
* NO SMOKING OF ANY SUBSTANCE OR PETS ALLOWED.
* MAXIMUM OF 12 GUESTS (this includes children).
* CHECK-IN TIME IS 4:00 PM DAY OF ARRIVAL, CHECK-OUT TIME IS 10:00 AM DAY OF DEPARTURE. Early check-in and late check-out may be an option for a small extra fee IF there is no other party arriving or departing on the same day, just inquire!
*THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS REQUIRE A 5-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY:
Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day. **OR for Memorial Day or Labor Day Weekends you may stay 3 nights but pay a holiday rate of $250/night. Winter season is a 3 night stay while Spring, Summer and Fall require a 4 night minimum.

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.

We also welcome any inquiries regarding longer-term rentals, such as several months at a time, during fall, winter or spring (not during summer). <><
