Combat veteran owned, Young Cane Creek Retreat (UC STR # 025796) offers a lower private suite with private entrance (owners live in upper level) and is gently nestled into the southern Appalachian Mountains at 1867’ elevation, surrounded by majestic mountain ranges and bordered to the east by the highest peak in Georgia – Brasstown Bald at 4783’.

Explore all the north Georgia mountains has to offer and enjoy a private cabin suite with over 240' of creek frontage on the sandy bottom Young Cane Creek.

The full lower level suite has a kitchen, living area with full futon pullout, bedroom with a king bed and full bath creating a separate private retreat space. The lower private suite sleeps 4.

The lower suite level has a large deck where you can grill, enjoy a meal outside or just take in the surrounding natural beauty. The den and the master bedroom in the private lower suite are equipped with large flat screen TV's with ROKU sticks.

Outdoors, enjoy the fire pit, play in the creek, cold plunge, go tubing, pan for gold or fish for trout.

The cabin is about 6-8 miles to shopping and the town square and about 15 minutes from Blue Ridge. If you enjoy hiking, kayaking, tubing, waterfalls or biking, the cabin is located within a 5-45 minute drive to most every major north Georgia attraction including many north Georgia vineyards and tasting rooms. It was all we were looking for!!!

The owners were very welcoming, answered all our questions, and had excellent suggestions for places to visit. We couldn't have asked for more relaxing accommodations. We loved the Cabin in the Woods!!

Great spot and great hosts

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The location was close to several fun places to visit and the hosts were very welcoming! We also enjoyed walking down to the water and taking in the view from the deck. We'll definitely try booking again if we go back to the area.

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay here! The bed was so big and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook or grill. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. The hosts were very nice and helpful with everything including helping us with a flat tire.

Quiet, clean and really nice cottage decor

We only spent the night on our way to meet up with more family the next day. Owner communication was amazing! He even told us about a possible traffic hold up to watch for on our way and had great tips for food in the area. The decor was really nice and the bed super comfy. Great nights sleep. Recommend.

My wife Jayne grew up in the north Georgia mountains and this area has always held a special place in her heart. After several months of looking at properties, we couldn't find anything better than Young Cane Creek Retreat. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We wanted a property that was on a creek or river, in the mountains, secluded and private yet easy to get to, and was close to all the conveniences our guests may need. Young Cane Creek Retreat is centrally located in the southern Appalachian mountains so that our guests can get to most any north Georgia attraction or town within a 5-45 minute drive. After looking at properties across north Georgia for several months, we immediately fell in love with Young Cane Creek Retreat. It is a perfect retreat to get away from the busyness of life and enjoy the natural beauty of the great outdoors.

With a separate level downstairs full suite, guests can enjoy the privacy of a separate living space.
