Still good but needs some fixing

Me and my family loved this home but we ran into problems that could use a lot of updates and a lot of foot traffic. The floors were dirty, dusty, and had some dead bugs for who knows how long it’s been there. Some of the toilets were leaking but were fixed right away. Shout out to Jared! The laundry room needs attention because it did not work at all whatsoever. Both machines weren’t running/couldn’t turn on even though it was plugged in. I had to resort to a laundry mat to wash clothes which was inconvenient. Majority of the beds were bunk beds and I highly recommended it to families with lots of younger kids, definitely not adults but be careful not to jump on the top bunks because I understand that kids do tend to get too excited. Would I recommend this place to friends and others? Absolutely AFTER getting a few things fixed up to meet expectations. Would I still book through vacasa? Yes I would because they will always do to the best of their abilities to go out their way to help their clients. Thank you vacasa and hope to see you soon again!

Spacious and pretty home but needs some updating

Overall the house was nice, but a few things were not ideal. The dining room table was in the living room area and was very dark, making it hard to play games or see your meal. The table was large enough to fit 16 people, but there was one mid size couch and one chair set up to watch tv for only 4-5 people. There are no bar stools to sit at the counter in the kitchen so eating was only at the large table across the living room. A few of the blinds were broken. The kitchen needs more supplies. There are no oven mits, so I had to use a folded kitchen towel and burned my hands removing a pan from the oven. No kleenex, napkins, and just one roll of paper towels. The bedrooms did not have locks on them. There were no hooks to hang towels in the master bathroom. The dryer needed to cycle 3-4 times to fully dry and that's with a small-medium load. There was only room to park 2 cars. Beds need updated linens - there was only a sheet and very thin quilt on the beds. They have several thick throw blankets that we used on the beds to stay warm at night. Top bunk beds have very small mattresses that are only good for small children, otherwise they are very uncomfortable. We needed to wait 45 minutes for the cleaning crew to finish when we arrived for check in.

Nice place but there’s room for improvement

We traveled with 10 adults and one child. The house was very spacious and clean which we enjoyed. The location was good. There was lots of room in the kitchen. A couple of suggestions for the kitchen are updated frying pans. Ours were totally worn out and everything stuck to the bottom. We were provided just one kitchen towel and one sponge for kitchen use. It would have been nice to have more since we had 10 people and cooked a couple meals. A couple bottles of cleaning spray would have been appreciated. The lighting in the whole house was terrible. Very dim and limited especially in the dining and family rooms. The beds were plentiful but not one of us said they were comfortable. No Kleenex in the house. One roll of paper towels. The back door leading to the backyard could not be locked. There was no instructions for the guests. The backyard was very disappointing. There was no usable outside furniture. A tipped over lounge chair near the shed and a dirty lounge chair near the master bedroom. There was a shed in the corner with its roof blown off. The rock stairs leading to the front door are broken and dangerous. They were eroded away and moved when stepped on. Overall, the property was decent but with the amount we spent for renting it, we expected it to be better.

Nice Home for Family

This was a nice 4 bedroom home with bunkbeds in each room. It fit all of comfortably. It could use some attention due to wear and tear. A few electrical outlets did not have covers which were a hazard so we blocked them with chairs so that the kids couldn't get to them. We could not figure out how to turn on the lights in the living room, we flipped every switch. The backyard was wonderful because we had fresh snow. The kids played outside for hours. It was clean, but I think more attention to detail would make it great. 3 families which included 4 kids fit perfectly. I would stay here again with hopes that certain things are repaired.

Weekend review

The space is great and accommodating for quite a few people. Unfortunately while it was only 75 degrees in Tahoe, something weird was happening with all 3 fire places where they were constantly projecting heat, and the AC didn’t work. I had to call maintenance and they couldn’t do anything about the fireplaces, but did bring us 2 large fans. Another issue was bedroom doors would lock but not latch, and the doors from the master bedroom leading to outside had a broken doorknob that fell every time you tried to open the door, and again locked but didn’t latch, you could just push the doors open. On top of it being so hot from the fireplaces we couldn’t leave the windows open because the ones in the master did not have screens and bugs were coming in.

Big enough for the whole family

House is very spacious and clean. There are lots of beds and bedrooms, so it was large enough for our extended family to have a great weekend in Tahoe. Backyard is big, and has plenty of room for barbecuing or just horsing around. The Internet was super fast, and I was able to video conference for work.

place was clean and provided plenty of accomodations. Kitchen was fully supplied with all the essentials to prepare food. Nice furniture. Our greatest disappointment wss the lightling in the dining room and the downstairs bedroom. No lights above the dining table. The light with the fan could not be turned on without he fan staying on and in the winter that proves to be very uncomfortable. So need more lighting. No lighting on the back porch area. Master bedroom.lighting was not useable as the fan would turn on loud and rattling, appears to be quite dangerous,unsafe and looks like it would fall out of its frame.

Great location

Great location near shopping centers, casinos, & beautiful trails. Plenty of beds & blankets for the family. Kitchen stocked well. I would just recommend repairing the grout and tile mold in both showers & master bathroom wall. The French door doorknobs also need to be tightened.

Perfect for Family Gatherings

I Loved how spacious, light and open floor plan this house was. House was very clean and kitchen well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. The large windows in every room provided light and allowed us to watch the kids play outside In the snow. Four bedrooms and three baths was perfect for our gathering and each family had their own room. Will be coming back here again!
