Amazing property! Lots of space to spread out. Beautiful lawn area. Very well equipped for kitchen items, beach supplies, and games. We were able to walk to town which is a big plus. Communication with the Owner was excellent!
The house was clean, and the property was beautiful. It's on a quiet street a short walk to downtown Edgartown, and a short bike/car ride to South Beach. The owner was a pleasure to work with, and my family and I (8 adults total) had no complaints and would HIGHLY recommend this property.

What a gem this house is! The property is beautiful and well appointed. With the house's great layout, we had ample room for three adult couples to enjoy privacy when we wanted it and social time when we wanted it. We spent a lot of time in the backyard and on the deck. Everything we needed (and most of what we wanted) was available in the house. When we had a problem, Tara was responsive and helpful. This house would work well for a family, too.

About the host

Our family has been vacationing on Martha's Vineyard for over 25 years. The Vineyard provides the best of everything ... beautiful beaches, a variety of charming towns - each with their own unique flavor, top notch restaurants and unique shops, as well as the spectacular and varied countryside. As we have explored other vacation areas throughout the United States, we have always returned to The Vineyard as our favorite spot.
Why they chose this property
This home is new to the summer rental market. It has been freshly painted, with new windows and updated furniture. The Kitchen is fully stocked with up-to-date appliances and kitchenware, ready for anything. There are three indoor areas for relaxing - Sunroom, Living Room and Basement Rec Room, as well as a spacious sunny deck with both a seating and dining area, complete with cushioned teak furniture, umbrella and Weber Grill. The deck overlooks the expansive yard, where there is a sense of total privacy and peacefulness in this meadow like property on over 1 acre.
What makes this property unique
Edgartown is the ultimate New England country town. It is replete with charming shops, an abundance of art galleries and a wide range of restaurants and cafes, to fit your every wish. The true beauty of the Vineyard, however, is the variety of towns and what they each offer. Within a 20 minute drive, you can visit the relaxed ambiance of Vineyard Haven, the excitement and festivities of Oak Bluffs (including the Carousel) or the quiet peaceful vibe of upisland towns such as West Tisbury, Chilmark or the quaint fishing Village of Menemsha. One of our favorite activities is to enjoy chowder and lobster rolls from one of the local fish markets, while relaxing on the beach and watching the sunset in Menemsha.
