Me and my family had the most amazing time in this home. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway book this place. We enjoyed the campfire (hosts started it for us), boardgames, sledding right in the back. We will book again it was perfect!

A perfect getaway

Debra and Mike truly made this stay amazing. They were more than accommodating, and great with our kids. If you are looking for a family/pet friendly, peaceful getaway this is your place. The cabin was immaculate, and had everything you would need for your stay. The waterfalls and lake near by make for beautiful scenery . I highly recommend staying here it was a wonderful trip and we will be going back again.

Beautiful property!

My family stayed here with our dog for one night. I wish we could have stayed longer! The cottage was immaculate, cozy, and welcoming. We had the pleasure of speaking with the host Debbie, and she was lovely! We didn’t get to use the fire pit area, but we enjoyed the view of the pond. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and other necessities, and the beds were comfortable for a solid night’s rest. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Fabulous time Staying

We had a great time staying at Mike's and Debra's cottage. My two friends and I were up for a week of fishing, and we had the perfect place to stay. Mike renovated the cottage and did a fabulous job. Mike and Debra are incredibly gracious and considerate hosts. They always checked on us and the cottage has all the amenities you need; but if you do need something, Mike and Debra will go out of their way to provide it. We look forward to our next stay with them.

Great Weekend!

We had a great time at Debra’s place. They were extremely helpful and communicative. The place was the perfect size for our group. Their pups were an extra plus to the weekend. We definitely want to come back and explore the area in warmer weather!

Can't Wait To Go Back

This place was incredible. The owners, Mike & Debbie are awesome instant friends. We stayed 3 short nights and when we left it was like leaving family. And the dogs WOW just so friendly and a pleasure to be around they really made us smile. The place was very clean, the little town was pretty cool and just a short distance to Bethel Woods for concerts. Cna't wait to go back and visit with these guys and those dogs. The pond, the firepit, the property, all was perfect.

Not quite getting away

For people looking at this property, you should know that the only real heat source is a wood burning stove and it gets COLD at night. There is also a unit above this rental and you will hear the occupants. While this house is detached from the property owners', there is not much of a sense of privacy or "getting away" with their house, the unit above, and an RV parked at the back of the property. Although the description lists a 6-person occupancy, I wouldn't recommend that unless 4 guests are kids and don't mind sleeping closely in the full-size bunk beds.

Hi Eric, I’m sorry your our first customer out of over 100 that didn’t love the cottage. I wish you would have reached out to me if you needed help with turning on the “GAS” Vermont stove it’s not a wood burning! There are 3 sources of heat a large Vermont casting gas stove which was on for your arrival which keeps the place toasty warm if not too hot. When I saw one of the guys I told him how to turn it on and off he said he turned it off it was to hot. Theres is a gas wall unit as well as electric heaters in every room. On our listing we provide great pictures and descriptions of the sleeping arrangements so if you missed understood the lay out of our cozy cottage I apologize But they are professional pictures with detailed descriptions! In our description it also says that we live on the property! Which all our past customers love that we are there to help with bbqs, bon fires eta the cottage has its own large deck overlooking the pound totally private. Just like all our pasts quests we set up the cottage with everything you need to have a great time! Next time pay more attention to the details so you get what your looking for. Thank you!

A wonderful time was had by all!!

A terrific experience. The place was spotless and the owners were completely awesome. They were very welcoming and super helpful (especially when we did things like lock ourselves out - my bad entirely, and forgot our dog’s bowls...).I would highly recommend !! The cottage was completely stocked with everything one could need and the beds were super comfortable . The outdoor patio overlooking the pond was terrific and very much appreciated by our dog. A wonderful time was had by all!!!
