This beautifully renovated duplex, in the heart of Carolina Beach is everything you want in a beach retreat with easy access to all this adorable beach town has to offer. Start your day with a short walk around the Lake with coffee in hand. Later, take a hop, skip and a jump to the beach and dip your toes in the ocean then stroll down the boardwalk for a bite to eat or catch some live music. End the day by watching the weekly fireworks with your family right from your front porch!

Inside you can enjoy the bright and open living space. Equipped with a Smart LED flat screen TV, plenty of seating and a fully stocked kitchen, it will surely meet your family's needs. The Surf Shack also boasts custom countertops, brand new bathrooms, fresh paint throughout, a fully fenced yard, and off-street parking. The master suite has a king bed and private full bath. Guest bedroom has a queen bed and access to the 2nd full bath in the hall. There is a bonus queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Access to washer and dryer downstairs.

Take advantage of the ample outdoor space below the house to escape from the sun. Enjoy the aroma of a home-cooked meal on the grill or play a game of corn hole in the yard. This unique duplex is also perfect for two families vacationing together. Short Getaway

The house is in a great location! Kinda feels like it is in the middle of everything. It’s only two blocks from the main road. We walked on the boardwalk and enjoyed some of the local shops. While grabbing dinner at Havana’s, we were able to see the filming of a movie next door. We didn’t get to see the main star (Zooey Deschanel) but it was a unique experience all the same. The staff at Pleasure Island provided all the information needed from the time we checked in to the time we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been televisions in the bedroom. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Carolina Beach. We will stay here again.

Great Location

This house is in a great location close to everything! Amenities are pretty basic. Silverware, coffee maker, etc... There were so soaps or shampoos for shower or dish soap for dishes unless you used the dishwasher.

Great Location

Family liked the location and proximity to the beach and other activities. We enjoyed our stay. Note that kitchen utensils and cookware is sparse for longer stays.

It was nice

We didn't spend much time there. It was clean, very clean bathrooms, and it was nice. Beds were fairly comfy. The couch did have weird stains (like another person who was rating commented), and was wet in spots like they tried to spot treat it, and it never dried, so that was weird, but not off putting, we put towels down. There were towels, toilet paper, paper towels & hand soap. There wasn't any dish soap. Overall, it was nice for the poodle to have a fenced in yard, a great location for us (we didn't want to walk to the beach), but close to everything we needed. Communication with pm's was great and appreciated. We would stay here again.
