Great town but bad week.
We’ve stayed in Ocean City before but not in this part of town. It is very noisy. The houses are all built to hold at least 10 people on each floor so when you sit on your porch and look to the left and to the right you just see and hear a multitude of people. And it was very trashy in the alley we had to walk down. Tenants are not careful about putting lids on trash cans so the seagulls pull out the trash and leave it strewn everywhere. No one cleans it up. Our unit itself was filthy. Very disappointing. Finally, we did not know that the beach was being dredged and redistributed right next to us. This made the beach extra crowded and it wasn’t very relaxing to see 4 bulldozers moving sand out of the corner of ones eye while relaxing on the beach. It will be a long time before we dare to venture back to OC and we won’t ever return to this property.
