The house was great and I really appreciate that it was pet friendly! Very clean and well furnished! The fenced in back yard after a little cleaning up was amazing and the dogs really enjoyed it!

Lovely stay--quiet and relaxing

Great location, easy and responsive communication with the property manager. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, and were very pleased... super relaxing, and an easy walk to the beach. The property could use overall updating (kitchen appliances, beds, etc), but everything works and is in fair condition and is priced appropriately. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Great location

Ok so this place is a block from the ocean, great location! However how do you not include, toilet paper and hand soap? Beds are old, not great, pillows are terrible. That being said, we enjoyed ourselves and location is great

We really like Heron Cottage but only 1 of the beds is usable. Other three are falling in and need to be replaced. We only needed one but could not invite our kids to stay with us as there is not a bed for them. Otherwise, we love it here !

Reviewer Comments: Clean, great fenced-in yard for the dogs, kitchen stocked with plenty of plates and cooking supplies, washer and dryer, under 5 minutes walking to the beach. Everything was super convenient and comfortable. I would get the front door lock worked on soon, as it seemed really tough to turn the keys and I was afraid the key was going to snap off with the teeth in the lock, which has happened to me before.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Heron cottage with our two dogs for a week. It’s conveniently located to everything and is a quick easy walk to the beach. The house is just as described, but especially lovely is the sunroom. The house interior was clean and the appliances all worked fine. While the description says charcoal grill it was tiny. The house is walking distance to the Beach House restaurant where we enjoyed a lunch on the screened in outdoor patio. We took advantage of the equipment, rental discount and rented bikes, which was easy, and we enjoyed biking to Tortuga Jacks for dinner and drinks or to the market in town for necessities and souvenirs. We enjoyed lunch Sunrise Grill too, they had amazing and fast service. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Driftwood bistro and a golf cart rental from Red Bug motors.

We had a wonderful stay at Heron Cottage. It’s a short walk to the beach and our dogs really enjoyed the yard. The Florida room was lovely and we spent most of our time there while home. The house had everything we needed. We will be back soon!

We have stayed many time at 4 Ogden and love the home and location! Fenced backyard is awesome! All the furniture is new but not the most comfortable for lounging (for the two legs) on a rainy/cold day but when you are there for the beach it isn't a deal breaker.

The house is in a perfect location. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach. the kitchen is large and well equipped. The sunroom is wonderful. We brought our three dogs so we needed a fenced in yard and we were pleasantly surprised at how large the yard is. a few issues. the yard needs better lighting for night time. The mattress' are not comfortable...next time I would bring my own pillow top. Overall we really enjoyed our trip amd would book this unit again.

The only real issue was the 1/2 bath is right at the dining table off the kitchen and has a bi-fold door. Pretty useless except for washing hands. No one wanted to use it as the door didn’t completely close and didn’t feel private. Otherwise, the location was great and fenced yard was perfect for our dog.

We enjoyed our stay and absolutely love the sunroom. Our dogs liked running around the fenced back yard. I was concerned prior to arrival due to some reviews complaining about the beds. Both the queen beds are comfortable. We did not use the 2 twin beds so I can't comment on them. The house was clean and the kitchen well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet. We look forward to renting again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself is a good size and layout with a nice back yard for pets. However the unit was so incredibly dirty - like it had never been cleaned ever. The rugs were full of dirt and sand - I mean FULL. The floors and surfaces were black with dirt. There were very few cooking utensils in the kitchen - no pan that was usable, we had to buy cooking spatulas which we left there. Morevoer someone from the property management showed up unannounced one day to drop off filters for the AC and insisted on coming inside to leave them. Very unsettling - that kind of thing should only happen on Saturdays in between guests.
