Lovely peaceful home in Camden village

Welcome to Camden, Maine! This immaculate 3 bedroom, 1 ½ bath home will feel like your “home away from home” the minute you step inside.
Originally updated in 2019, this home has been further updated in 2023 to include new outdoor patio lighting, a new television (with Netflix subscription), and other amenities. Painted in soothing colors that exude a feeling of peace and tranquility, it’s the perfect place to unwind, relax, and recharge.
The air-conditioned first floor features a lovely kitchen, complete with breakfast bar and stools so you can cook and socialize at the same time. The dining room is right next to the kitchen and has a large table with space for everyone to eat together or play a board game or two while enjoying a glass of wine after dinner. The living room is open to the dining room, with room to stretch out and be comfortable. There is also a half bath and laundry room on the first floor.
The second floor features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, two additional bedrooms, a shared bath with walk-in shower, and two window unit air conditioners. All three bedrooms offer views of Mount Battie in Camden Hills State Park, which is one of our favorite places to visit. Hike one of the many trails or drive the road to the top of the mountainside. Explore the tower, take in the amazing views of the harbor, and see if you can spot your home base in Camden!
This home is an easy 10-minute walk to the heart of downtown Camden, where you will enjoy fabulous restaurants, shops, and our picturesque waterfront. Beyond Camden, the MidCoast region has so much to offer. You can take a schooner ride and see the seals sunning themselves on the rocks, kayak on Penobscot Bay, do a driving tour of our many lighthouses, or even take the ferry to Monhegan Island to explore the art galleries and beautiful natural walking trails. This home is the perfect base for exploring the area and beginning an annual tradition of visiting MidCoast Maine.

Our family of six (2 adults, 2 seniors, 2 children) had a wonderful stay. The property is very clean and comfortable. The front porch is great for morning coffee. Easy walk or drive to the shops and restaurants and water front. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Camden

We had a great time during our stay! The house is comfortable and the location can’t be beat! I would say that we wished there were lights in the yard by the grill and table because as soon as it starts to get dark there’s no way to cook or eat outside.

Camden Vacation

We loved everything about this house! The house is utterly charming, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Such a perfect combination of old and new. And it was super clean and neat as a pin. Awesome Spot in Camden

The house is walking distance from all the great spots in Camden. There’s a backyard, cute front porch, and the beds are very comfortable. Highly recommend this spot!

Lovely week in Camden

My two young adult kids and I spent a week at this lovely home, with family nearby. It was a very comfortable house. Great cooking utensils and lots of room to cook and eat together. The house has games, puzzles and books, and all you need for a fun family vacation. We absolutely loved the location-quiet street, and less then a 10 minute walk to the restaurants, harbor and shops in Camden. We enjoyed nearby hiking, kayaking and swimming. We hope to return to this lovely home in Camden.

Creature Comforts in Camden

This was a great property for our week-long stay in Camden. It was very clean and stocked with all needed amenities. It was far enough from town to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough for frequent walks into the action. The only issue we had was that the non-master bedrooms were on the warm side at night.

Lovely house

This house made for a wonderful snd relaxing stay in Camden. The house was exactly as expected, had all the necessary amenities, was clean, very comfortable and close to town allowing for an easy walk into Camden to enjoy the town. We look forward to returning in the future.

Nice house in a great location

The house was clean, attractive and very comfortable for two adults. Nice location to walk to the center of Camden. We used the air conditioner for a 90 degree day. So glad we had it!

Great location, very nicely update home

We were delighted with the location of this property, a quick walk into town or to the park. Nearby Chestnut Hill Historical block and Bay View are lovely to walk thru if you enjoy seeing beautiful yards and homes! The house was exceptionally clean and there was even a drying rack and ironing board!

Another great stay in Camden!

This is our third year in a row renting this property and that should tell you how much we love it! It's perfect for a family of four. The home is well-appointed and comfortable and conveniently located in the town. We can't recommend it enough!

Beautiful home in a picturesque small town Maine harbor

Our stay in this beautiful home was everything we had hoped for. The pictures on VRBO are accurate - the house has obviously had a lot of care put into a renovation and decorating. We would definitely stay here again were we to return for another Maine visit. One funny thing we noted was the MASSIVE amount of storage/closet/cupboard space throughout the house. I wish MY house had this much! The *only* complaint we had really had nothing to do with the house but rather the busy street out front. The neighborhood is quaint and beautiful, but expect cars and commercial trucks to drive by all. day. long. I guess the layout of the town just makes this street a popular thoroughfare. If you can deal with that ( and we could but I just wanted to throw this out there ) then you can't do better than this house.
