The home is very cozy, filled with art, and has beautifully appointed bedrooms. We loved that it was just a few minutes’ walk to Camden’s shops and restaurants. Mary and Dave were extremely gracious hosts and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

We loved being in this beautiful home for 5 days and the owners were lovely as well. Great kitchen and spacious rooms.Only downside was the listing described it as “beachfront”, ( it is not), and stairs were challenging for our big feet.Loved our time here, and the hospitality extended.

Mary & Dave have a very cozy home just minutes from town. We had a chance to cook some nice meals in the full kitchen and read in the comfortable living room on a rainy day. It was the perfect location for day-trips to Acadia and Glidden Point oyster farm. And town is packed with great places to eat and drink. Enjoy!

Host is so congenial!! The house is in a good location, town is easily walkable. Loved sitting on kitchen porch reading. The house itself is a bit cluttered with furniture. This makes it difficult to open suitcases and be organized.

This is a charming home both inside and out. The hosts have decorated with beautiful furnishings and original artwork.The home is clean and all items needed for a comfortable stay were provided.Communications with the hosts were clear, pleasant, and informative. The location is perfect; within easy walking distance to the harbor, restaurants, shops, the library and its overlook of Camden Harbor.We found Camden to be a good central location on Maine's mid-coast. It's a beautiful town with an accessible harbor. I would recommend this home and these hosts.

Overall, the house was filled with clutter. The dishes in the cabinets had water on them and the silverware was not clean and all dishes and silverware had to be run thru the dishwasher prior to using.The steps into the home were dangerous as there was no railing to hold onto.Both owners were very helpful in seeing to our needs.Would not recommend this property at this price to friends or family.

Please use this as a guide when rating your visit online 5 STARS- I enjoyed my stay here 4 STARS- There are many issues to fix 3 STARS -Major problems with my stay 2 STARS-This should not be listed 1 STAR-I left early it was so bad You gave the house 2 STARS So, what you are saying is that my home should not be listed. According to the grid I provide, it seems that your review would be a 3 or a 4. I question the clutter. The house is exactly as pictured. It is a family home with books and my husband's paintings. The bedrooms are much larger than hotel rooms. The Master bath is very large, as is the guest bath. The worst is that you were so friendly to me and to my husband. I find this duplicitous. The business about silver and plates is just strange, a new complaint. It is a bit like enjoying a fabulous dinner and refusing to pay the check because there was something wrong with the meal. Of course, you did complain about Damariscotta and not being able to take a boat ride. There are numerous options. I am sorry your trip was so unsatisfying.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The home owner is a talented artist and the home has a lot of his artwork and is appointed with an artists eye. Walking distance to town, markets, Mt Battie trailhead could not have been more convenient. We had a blast !

The stay was great and the house was comfortable. It was decorated nice and had a lot of artwork that the owner painted. Loves looking at all pictures. They had a full kitchen and plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was very convenient to walk to Camden. The Miller's were very nice and helpful when we asked for restaurants . Their house was nice and warm feeling. Thank you.

Nice weekend

This property is in a perfect location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbor. We had great food, went on a sailboat tour and drove up Mt Battie. Great weekend getaway

This is a charming and very comfortable home in a great location, just a few minutes walk to downtown Camden and everything the delightful town has to offer.The home is filled with books, art and antiques which our group of four 70-somethings greatly enjoyed. The owners are a thoughtful and charming couple and were highly responsive to our wishes.We felt like adopted Camdenites! Don't miss this one.

“Workation” on Camden

We absolutely loved everything about this place: the hosts, furnishings, location, internet speed, and price. There was something for everyone here, and we hope to return for another week next year!

Great location

Camden is a favorite destination for us - and as we had rented this property years ago - knew the proximity to town was terrific. We enjoyed being close to the harbor - however the property needs maintenance and to be professionally cleaned on a much more regular basis to provide the best vacation experience.

You surprise me. You have stayed at the house before. You are familiar with it. You requested that we not be on the property , as we have a garden flat, so I had no way to address your concerns. I want to apologize about the spider web, outside the window in the 1st floor bathroom. This time of year they are out in force. The coffee cup left on a table is entirely my fault. I need to be more careful. I am so glad you enjoyed the kitchen so thoroughly and yet felt it wasn't up to par. It is like cleaning your plate in an excellent restaurant and, then, complaining about the food. I say this with humor. You did send a lovely photo of my candle lit living room during the hurricane and seemed to be content. Alas, a rating of 3 seems harsh to me and will cost me Premiere status but so be it. Allow me to recommend The Lord Camden Inn, in the future. It is absolutely beautiful and serves a fabulous breakfast. I believe it runs about between $500 and 700 a night. Be well.
