French aristocrat born in Paris in 1805, Alexis de Tocqueville comes from an ultra-royalist family. As a member of the Manche, he has distinguished himself by his numerous and renowned literary works - the most famous remaining "Democracy in America" - and his avant-garde fight against slavery.

Wir waren dort eine Woche um Stadt und Familie zu besuchen. Wir wurden pünktlich und herzlichen willkommen geheißen. Die Wohnung war genau wie auf den Fotos und sauber. Da der Gastgeber 2 Etagen über uns wohnte hätten wir jederzeit bei einem Problem zu ihm gekonnt. Die Lage in der Altstadt ist sehr schön und man hat Restaurants und Bars direkt in Reichweite ä.
