This was a great place to stay. The apartment was way more than I expected! Great location, easy parking, and clean. It was spacious and renovated nicely. It had a modern feel that did not take away from the historic building. I would definitely stay there again!
Excellent location for MTU graduation weekend Beautiful apartment, well stocked and very clean We have stayed here 2 times now and will definitely be backPrice is good for a quality VRBO experience One suggestion- more bathroom towels
The property is incredible. Very beautifully decorated and renovated. This is a very unique place and I wish there were more properties like it. Very spacious and comfortable. Check in was super simple, there was adequate and easy parking and very nice amenities all around.
We were visiting family in the area and brought a 6 month old baby, mom and grandma. Great space for our family. Met all of our needs, clean, lovely neighbors.
We love the personalized stay this unit offers, including coffee pods, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, make up mirror, and adorable decorations. Thankful for air conditioning as it was a hot, humid weekend in the Keewenaw!
This place was truly wonderful and had all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and all the comments about the pictures not doing it justice are accurate! The high ceilings and design choices were very appreciated.
This was money well spent. Bedrooms were big, living area, kitchen, bathroom were great and clean. Plenty of dishes and utensils to use the kitchen. Location is a short drive to plenty of tourist things to do and places to eat. We would stay here again for sure.
Spacious and clean apartment. Love how the high ceilings and big windows create a bright living space. We enjoyed the provided coffee, oatmeal and popcorn. Convenient location as we were in town to visit son at MTU. Highly recommend!
This location was enjoyable. The renovation of a former school into condos made our stay unique and fun. The place was spacious and clean, and very comfortable with the bonus of a washer and dryer. That made it even better! Cool town, good food from The Forge, Four Suns Fish and Chips, and Copper Range Depot. Would definitely recommend!
We had a hockey event for a long weekend. Location was great. The uniqueness of the old school converted to a VRBO was very cool. Everything went smoothly with check-in, our stay, and check-out. Would recommend for others.
Leah was a great host, took care of a couple of minor issues immediately, and facilitated an enjoyable stay in Houghton. The apartment was well appointed, and included personal touches that made the stay exceptionally enjoyable.
The Koski's renovated building at the E. L. Wright school is beautiful. They've done an excellent job preserving the building and modernizing it.

We really enjoy the old schoolhouse turned into apartments. The price is very reasonable. We love how they tried to keep as much of the original structure as possible, the old doors and flooring. It is a clean and well kept property. The owners are very accommodating and have a quick response time, when I asked about staying another night.

Great place, amazing historic building, renovated to updated modern apartments. Loved that it is a former school! A bit to get used to the busy road with semi trucks braking down the hill, but not too bad. Could have been cleaner with more attention to detail from cleaning service, for example dirty prints on white door around bathroom door handle. No extra towels available unless requested. Very good communication with hosts. Had a nice stay.
