About this property

60 Steps to world renowned Chesterman Beach Super Clean Great Location!

This 2 bedroom cabin has a well equipped kitchen and private deck with patio furniture, propane BBQ and outdoor shower. Both bedrooms feature comfortable queen size beds with soft sheets and duvets and black out blinds. The custom bathroom features a bathtub/ shower combination. There is a comfortable three seat couch and bar area for working or eating. The cabin is small so is better suited for two or three guests if the weather is inclement. The outdoor hot tub is the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate after an adventurous day exploring the local attractions. For those unexpected power outages, 60 Steps has a backup power source to make your stay more comfortable. Not suitable for young children. No pets permitted, owner lives on site. If you wish to entertain friends or family during your stay this cabin is not suitable as it is intended for a maximum of four guests.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash all dishes thoroughly and put away.
Turn off heat in all rooms.
Open kitchen window slightly.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours 10pm - 8am Facilities, including hot tub are for registered guests only. No visitors on the property No campers or RVs
The person making the booking is financially responsible for the cost of repairs for any damage/breakage that occurs during his or her stay.
A $100 fee will be charged if hot tub has to be drained, cleaned and refilled due to misuse, excessive sand, skin products and/or broken glass thanks!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at 60 Steps. The place was super clean and well stocked. The location is superb, being so close to the beach and only a quick drive into town. The grounds and hot tub were well cared-for and maintained. Jill was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. Highly recommend this place for a couple!

This is a beautiful little rental property in a very special part of the world - and literally only 60 steps from the most amazing beachThe cabin itself is very well-appointed with everything you need to make it extremely comfortable. We stayed September 17-21, 2025. We absolutely loved our stay at 60 Steps! True to its name, it’s just 60 steps from the stunning Chesterman Beach, where we enjoyed daily happy hours—rain or shine. The place was super clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beach chairs were such a nice touch—we used them every day—and soaking in the hot tub after a full day of exploring was the perfect way to wind down. It’s the ideal spot for a relaxing beach escape. Highly recommend!

Born and raised in Vancouver and attended high school on Vancouver Island . I have always loved the island and have lived in Tofino full time for the past 30 years.

Why they chose this property

It was one of the most spectacular places I had ever visited and I knew this was where I wanted to live my adult years. This property was chosen in order to create our own little piece of paradise.

What makes this property unique

Proximity to Chesterman Beach and outside the town centre. Beautiful location to live and thrive by the ocean. From the south end of Chesterman Beach, the beach is a mile long to the north end where you can rest with a leisurely cup of coffee at The Wickaninnish Inn before making your return journey. The sunsets are spectacular, particularly in the summer.
