Warm and informative welcome from hostess. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. The only downside for us was it was not suitable for people with some mobility problems e.g. the way to the garden was by several steps without a handrail. The local area was a bit dull without any shops or open spaces. Bordeaux itself is well worth visiting!

Trés jolie

Very nice host and a lovely little house with a fantastic garden. We really felt like home! Good kitchen and bathroom equipment, good beds, great shower. Guests should know that they are staying in the private home of the host, so be respectful. The only flaw is, that the bedrooms are at ground level facing the street, so you can open the windows at night only if the shutters are closed. With temperatures above 30 degrees as they were during the week of our stay, this might be a problem for some people who usually sleep with the windows open (like us). There is a good air condition though. Everything else was perfect and we had a great stay. We recommend everybody to rent a bike there, Bordeaux is ideal for cycling and like that you will be in the city center in no time.

The apartment is not bad, but unfortunately quite dusty. If you are prone to allergies, this is not a good place to stay.Some of the furniture is old and fragile. If anything breaks, you will be immediately charged, as already noted in a previous review. We allegedly broke a cabinet door hinge, clogged the shower and didn’t clean sufficiently - although end-of-stay cleaning was included in the prices - and were immediately charged an additional 300 euros without any proof of cost. No effort was made to resolve the situation amicably.This was our first experience with VRBO and certainly our last. Hosts are given access to your credit card without any effective way to challenge or block disputed charges, and with no redress mechanism. Overall, this was not a good experience.

A quiet getaway

This apartment turned out to be ideal for me. The tram line was a 10-minute walk, and a LeClerc supermarket about a 6-minute walk. It isn't very close to any of the area attractions, but that means it was very quiet and peaceful, especially out in the beautiful garden! Everything is accessible by bus or tram, however. The place itself is clean and bright, and the open floor plan makes it convenient for hosting. The a/c was amazing during the hot days of summer! The owner provides a notebook full of helpful information. A cleaning service is available, too.

Bien situé dans le quartier des Chartrons. A proximité des services. Accès au centre de Bordeaux super facile grâce aux transports en commun à proximité. Le petit jardin est un gros plus. Cuisine bien équipé. Accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire.

Séjour gâché par une caution abusive

Bel appartement, très bien situé. Malheureusement notre séjour a été gâché par une caution abusive prélevée par l'agence qui gère le logement. Ma fille a cassé un vieux miroir ébréché posé à côté des toilettes qui n'était pas fixé (ce qui par ailleurs était très dangereux et heureusement elle ne s'est pas blessée). Le genre de miroir que vous récupérez pour qq euros sur le Bon Coin. L'agence nous a prélevé 130 (!!!) sans justificatif du prix du miroir. On nous a également accusé d'avoir déchiré une housse de couette - sans preuve malgré ma demande (car je ne vois pas quelle housse nous avons déchiré). L'argent a été prélevé automatiquement sur notre carte de crédit et aucune réponse à mes demandes. Il est malheureusement quasiment impossible de faire quelque chose. Donc voilà si vous louez cet appartement, faites très attention. Vraiment dommage.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung, es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, sogar Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine sowie ein netter kleiner Garten. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen, gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn. Die Schlüsselübergabe mit Agnes hat sehr gut geklappt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Stadthaus in sich entwickelndem Viertel

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in Bordeaux. Das Haus liegt 10 min zu der Straßenbahn Rtg Innenstadt oder zu Fuß ca 35 Min und lohnt sich zur Stadterkundung. Ein Parkplatz ist an der Straße zu suchen. Man ist schnell auf den Zubringern für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Möbel und Einrichtung sind etwas älter. Mit wenig Aufwand könnte aus dem Haus ein richtiges Schätzchen gemacht werden. Einzig die Sauberkeit von Geschirr und Haus war nicht optimal. Betreuer des Hauses war ansprechbar und zuvorkommend. Unterlagen über die Stadt und wichtige Infos waren vorhanden.
