Apple Blossom Cottage- well equipped cottage in a country setting


Apple Blossom Cottage is located adjacent to the Champion Hill Golf Course and close to the Pine Croft Golf Course. Enjoy the beautiful views of the golf course, the woods and an old apple orchard from the deck. The cottage has a Master bedroom, 2 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all on one floor with a spacious kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a quiet dish washer, fridge, microwave and gas stove. Coffee maker, electric water kettle and plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans are at your disposal. A large dining table seats 6 people and you can relax in an inviting living room. The deck and a grill invites you to spend time outside. The house sits on a large lot with no direct neighbors. Birdwatchers will appreciate the number of different birds that can be found at the property such as Bluebirds, Orioles, Woodpeckers and more. Empire, the gateway to the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore is 15 minutes by car to the north. Enjoy the bicycle trail from Empire to Good Harbor Beach. You can head to the great beach, get some ice cream or sandwiches to go and explore this beautiful natural resource. Beulah is 3.5 miles by car to the west and offers various dining spots, shops and galleries and also a great beach. A supermarket and hardware store are located in Benzonia. Frankfort on Lake Michigan is 15 minutes by car to the west and after some shopping or dining check out Pont Betsie Light House and the beaches for great sunsets. Bring your bicycle to explore the great bike trails, the Betsie Valley Trail and the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail ( E-Bike rentals are available in Empire) are nearby. Fish on Lake Michigan with one of the charter boats or try your luck on the Platte River or the Betsie River. Kayaking or tubing on those rivers give you a different view and are fun for the whole family. Bring your own boat to enjoy nearby Crystal Lake! Don't forget to plan a family night at the Honor Drive- In Movie Theater just 5 minutes away.

Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels will be provided. Dish soap, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags and hand soap will be at the cottage. Please bring any toiletries to last you through your stay.
Paper towels, toilet paper will be supplied at the beginning of the stay but not throughout the stay.

The house was exactly as it was presented in the pictures. It was a quiet and comfortable stay, and in an excellent location to explore the area. The place fit our family with younger kids well for each evening as we were able to unwind from our day. We would definitely stay here again!

Quaint, Secluded Cottage in Beulah

This was my first time staying in a Vrbo, we usually stay in a hotel when we travel. Since we decided to have a family vacation this year with our adult children it was more cost effective to find a place we could all stay. The cottage was secluded but was in a central location to the activities we had planned. There was plenty of room for all of us and the house was clean and contained a lot of amenities for our stay. One day we decided to stay in and play board games and the house had a spacious common area for this. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you.

Excellent stay

Best house we've booked so far. As a family of 4, it was the perfect amount of space. Located on a golf course and in an apple orchard, there were deer to watch in the mornings and evenings. The driveway was big enough to fit our 35 foot trailered pontoon and have parking for two more vehicles. It is important to note that the water heater is small, so you need to stagger showers. We learned that the hard way the first night. You do have to bring your own sheets, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes and dish towels/dish rags. There is a washer and dryer right off the kitchen for laundry. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

This little cottage was perfect for my family. Had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home and plenty of space. It's located in the center of everything so all of the places we wanted to visit were a reasonable drive from the property.
