Constructed from trees that once stood where the Barn now stands, makes this property blend in with the natural surroundings. The trees were milled and dried on site. All siding, beams, flooring, basically anything made of wood is sourced from the property.
While this retreat feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, you are surrounded by everything you need. Wineries as close as the bottom of the hill, 20 plus more wineries as you make the short 20 minute drive to St. Helena, Kenwood, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and Calistoga.
This area is best known for its wines, but there are some of the best breweries in the area too. If you like beer, be sure to visit Russian River, Bear Republic, and Lagunitas breweries.
On the property there are kid friendly miniature goats and pigs, you can swim in the pool, relax in the hot-tub, shoot some hoops, and utilize the full outdoor kitchen with gas grill, pizza oven, smoker, refrigerator, ice machine and kegerator.

Two downstairs bedrooms feature luxurious king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Both which have private outdoor showers where you can rinse off in the fresh country air after a long day of exploring all the area has to offer.
The upstairs loft provides a king bed and queen size sofa bed.
Both Bathrooms are accessible from the great room or the bedrooms. The guests staying in the loft can access both bathrooms without disturbing the downstairs guests.
All bedrooms have bluetooth speakers so you can listen to your favorite tunes as you get ready for your day.
Vaulted ceilings in the main living area make the retreat feel even larger than it is! After an adventurous day hiking or wine-tasting, you can come home to an 80" television with surround sound so you can watch your favorite show or game in style.
Large tri-fold doors open from the main living area and virtually disappear, magically blending the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. The outdoor area has everything you could dream of. A large pool and spa with lounge seating and umbrellas, a gas fire pit, outdoor kitchen, dining area and even a wine cave! At night, the ambient lighting helps create this wonderful outdoor living space.
Facing the trees and vast vistas of rolling hills, you will have an endless supply of fresh air and enjoy unforgettable colorful sunsets. A seating area with hammocks has been set up on the edge of the property so you can enjoy the sunsets in an even more scenic setting.
Adjacent to the 25 acre property is approximately 1800 acres of Sonoma County owned open space. You can do very long nature walks in virtual privacy starting from your doorstep!
Please note that the pool is not heated. Heating is not necessary from July to September. The rest of the year it can be heated for an additional cost. Please inquire about the exact cost for your stay. *** Also, please note that if the nighttime temperatures are below 50 degrees, we will not be able to heat the pool as it never fully gets to temperature and we do not wish to waste your money ***
It is best to have a car. There is plenty of parking at the property. There is a Tesla Charger that you can use during your stay upon request.
The water is from a well on the property and is the most delicious and fresh you can have.
Caretakers live on the property. Should you need any assistance during your stay, they will be able to help you. The owners also live in the main house for about 50% of the year. Everything you see in the photos is for your use only during your stay.
Please note *** The road to the property, Erland Road, is not a county maintained road. I highly suggest arriving at the property during the daytime as the dark can be daunting for those not accustomed to country roads. It is 3/4 of a mile long.
