We had a wonderful time at Relax. Wonderful setting, very remote. Returning from the wineries was truly relaxing. Hence the name sake. There are some really close wineries that we wished we had visited when we arrived. We visited one by appointment as we made our way back to the airport and it was a gem. The host was a gem. The owners happens to be there at one point t and Stephanie was a doll. 10 stars. They even had chickens with fresh eggs. And a goat and and a pig as pets.

Thanksgiving Stay

We had a wonderful stay. Molly provided us with all the answers and the house was a perfect location for a remote Thanksgiving holiday for a family. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen well equipped. We loved the hot tub and needed the wonderful fire.

The perfect escape!

Our stay here was perfect. The barn was so spacious but still felt cozy and had everything we needed. And the pool area was the perfect summer retreat. We'll definitely be back.

Exactly as described! The perfect location between Napa and Sonoma.

Couldn’t have been happier with the house, it’s amenities and location. Exactly what we were looking for! And excellent Mexican dishes available on site as well. Really enjoyed ourselves! Thanks for a great experience!

The host was very communicative, friendly and helpful. The Barn was beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen was the best part. We spent all day cooking and hanging out at the pool catching up with friends. We will hopefully return in the future. An amazing place and stay. Thank you.

Quiet retreat

We found this place after another cancelled on us at the last minute. I think we lucked out. We were able to sit and relax and just enjoy the scenery. We also had good interactions with the owners and caretaker - a wine tasting then a ride up to the sunset overlook. The fresh eggs were a nice touch.

The property was as advertised: beautiful, pristine, and perfect to accomodate our family. The kids enjoyed the basketball court and pool each day, adults enjoyed the hot tub each night, and between the kitchen in the barn and the incredible outdoor kitchen/BBQ, we were able to prepare ourselves wonderful meals and enjoy outdoor dining. The hosts were amazing. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful, but also gave us complete privacy. The property is expansive and roaming it each day to see the pigs, goat, chickens, or enjoy the landscape/views was an added bonus. Plus, you're so close to so many incredible vineyards that a day trip to them was super convenient.

A Dreamy Escape: Unparalleled Comfort and Hospitality

Our stay at this vacation home was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with immaculate cleanliness and a warm welcome that set the tone for our entire stay. The property itself offers an array of activities, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. However, what truly sets this place apart is the unparalleled hospitality we experienced. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. And let’s talk about the beds – hands down the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Overall, a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

Memorable

What an amazing property in a secluded area. It was wonderful to have access to doing activities and having a quiet place to return to. My husband and I have stayed here alone and decided to bring our kids. I do believe that I won’t be able to book property without Farm animals and amazing dogs that come with it. Needless to say, it was a very memorable stay. My kids will be talking about it for months. Antoinette and Stephanie were knowledgeable and helpful. I will recommend this place to anyone!

Our stay was about as close to perfection as you can get! It's a pretty drive up to the home, and while it felt like it was secluded and our own private sanctuary, it was a quick and easy drive into Santa Rosa to pick up groceries and anything else we needed. We did did a lot of exploring of the general and extended area. It never felt too far of a drive and it was scenic. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking with good-quality pots and pans, utensils, olive oil, salt pepper, coffee, etc. which is rare in a home rental. They even have abundant, fragrant rosemary shrubs just outside the door where you can snip fresh rosemary for your fresh eggs or whatever you are cooking. The outdoor kitchen was so much fun! We made pizzas in the pizza oven one night, and steaks on the smoker another night. We loved the rustic decor, well-stocked games, complimentary bottles of wine, and all the special touches that made our stay remarkable. We spent our mornings on the patio wrapped in a blanket drinking coffee and watching the fog lift, revealing the beautiful landscaping and flowers in full bloom. And the beds! Holy smokes are they comfortable!!The host Antoinette is simply amazing! She was so fun, friendly, and quickly helped us with anything we needed. We loved her!We had such an incredible time here that we really hope to stay again sometime soon.

Fantastic property!! The best family getaway!

This property is absolutely fantastic and clean!! I cannot speak highly enough of the owners, Stephanie and Kurt and of this immaculate, and amazingly built property. We had a little family reunion, all three generations had a wonderful time. Our little kids 3 and 5 years old, had a blast. Every morning, they would run around the property, go visit the chicken coop and bring back fresh eggs and harvest some fresh tomatoes and plum from the garden to make breakfast. They also loved running around the property playing with Lola, the Golden retriever. Stephanie, the owner was such a joy to talk to and was very helpful She gave us wonderful recommendations and surprised us with a wine tasting in the cave on the property and a little adventure for our kids. we would definitely come back and highly recommend this barn.

5-star oasis

Our stay at the barn was fabulous! Our trip included three very young kids ages 1-7. The property and grounds are like a 5-star resort and are very accessible and kid friendly. The landscaping and pool is immaculate and swoon worthy. The outdoor kitchen is a fabulous amenity and the house is modern and well-kept. It could maybe use one really thorough cleaning, but I have super high standards :) The beds are very comfortable and so are the couches. The drive to the property can feel daunting at first, but you get used to it. I wouldn’t plan to come and go a lot. This is a house where you gather your groceries and you plan to stay for a while because it does take some time to exit the property and get in to town. The farm animals were really fun for our kids to engage with. Antoinette was lovely and a great host, and she even brought us farm fresh eggs which were so delicious! A few more kids toys, high chair or pack n play (the one there is broken) would be a super nice touch and maybe a few more spices for the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this property and stay again!

Incredible. The property was beautiful. The decor, furniture and appliances were all top shelf. (including outdoor showers) The pool, hot tub and grilling patio were something we all dreamed of wanting at home. (we cooked out 2 nights on the green egg and pizza oven) The landscaping and views brought so much peace and tranquility. (sitting watching hummingbirds or visiting with the pig and goat) At night the star gazing was incredible. Included is a wonder hosts, whom was there to recommend restaurants, wineries or any other needs. (and even offered some wonderful menu options) A lot of VRBOs you stay, there is no hosts, no one to acclimate you to the property or area, this property the host was an added feature. You truly get more than what is described.

Peaceful setting

Had a wonderful stay in the barn! Setting is beautiful and peaceful. Amenities are great. A bit hard to find the first time as the road is not marked. The the wifi is a bit sketchy. Most things are mostly 15-25 minutes away.

Fantastic Property

Unique property in beautiful location. Everything was exceptionally maintained. Property is remote - 15 minutes to Santa Rosa / 30 minutes to St. Helena. Owner very responsive to questions as it relates to the "how to questions" about the home. Perfect vacation with my family.

Relaxing in style

We had a great time at this property. The pool and outdoor areas were great. Some days we never left the house and never got bored. The location is perfect. Tucked away in the hills between Santa Rosa and St. Helena but just a few minutes away from groceries, restaurants, etc. in Santa Rosa. Catalina cooked for us twice and each time was exceptional. This is a must if you are staying here. Thanks for the wonderful vacation experience. We’ll be back soon!

Peaceful oasis

If you’re looking for a laid back, peaceful, and relaxing vacation - this is a great place to stay. The house and the grounds are immaculate. The outdoor kitchen was amazing. The house is very remote so this is a good place to stay if you just want to chill, enjoy the outdoors and have fun family time. I recommend planning meals ahead of time if you like to cook (definitely make use of the outdoor kitchen). Plan to drive 10-15 min if you decide to dine out at a restaurant. There’s not a lot of choices for good restaurants close by so cooking your own meals is the way to go. If you plan to use pots or pans, I recommend bringing your own. If you’d like to go wine tasting, I recommend hiring a car to truly enjoy wine tasting. There is one winery close by that does tasting by appointments. It’s expensive but worth it! (Fisher winery is very to the property). The owner of the property Curt, was very helpful and hospitable. Catalina whom you can order oaxacan meals from in advance is an awesome cook. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back next time we are in need of some R&R!

Oh my gosh you gave us a great idea to make a list of World class restaurants and wineries that are within 15 minutes of the property! Her are some amazing restaurants... Solage, Sam social club, Calistoga inn, Evangeline, Bird and bottle, Monty’s, Sea Thai, And, if you want great BBQ, go to Busters Hydro grill. The following wineries are within 15 minutes or less Fisher vineyards Pride vineyards Schweiger Robert Keenan Barnett vineyards Smith Madrone vineyards Lakoya vineyards Spring mountain vineyards Sherwin vineyards I could probably name about 25 more, but I think You get the idea. :) So, while the property itself feels like you are in the remote wilderness, you are actually quite close to a lot of amazing places.

Amazing!

Visited with a group of 7 women and we had an amazing time! The property is beautiful and cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was stocked for cooking, the hot tub was great, so much to love about this place! There are even chickens and goats and PIGS! We took a short hike up to the top of their property and saw a beautiful sunset, the area is just stunning! We were about 45 mins from Napa, Sanoma, Healdsburg, all of the major places which was great. We can't wait to come back for another girls weekend!
