I was born and raised in Sonoma County and feel incredibly lucky to call this beautiful area home. While I love traveling the world, I always find my way back to this special place. Now, as I move on to new adventures, I cherish the wonderful memories made at Happy House. For over 14 years, I hosted monthly dinners with friends, filling this home with laughter, great food, and music. Live music is a big part of my life, and I’ve even hosted intimate acoustic concerts right in my dining room and backyard.
My goal has always been for everyone who walks through the door to feel comfortable and want to stay. I love the idea of this house making guests feel happy and safe, just as it has for me and so many others over the years.

Why they chose this property
Honestly, my parents chose the neighborhood. They originally bought this house in 1997 because it had a room big enough for a full-size pool table (now the dining room). I chose to purchase the home from them in 2013 because I love the feel of the house, the size of the yard, and couldn't see myself living anywhere else.
Beyond the house itself, the neighborhood has so much to offer. Within a half-mile, there are beautiful creek trails, a few great restaurants, Oliver’s Market (a fantastic locally owned grocery store), and even a classic dive bar. It’s a perfect balance of convenience and community.
The one trade-off is that Happy House sits on the corner of Rinconada, which does get a fair amount of traffic, so there’s some street noise. But for me, the perks of the neighborhood more than make up for it!

What makes this property unique
What makes Happy House unique is that it has been my primary residence since 2013. I originally rented it out while traveling, but now that I'm moving to a new home, I’m excited to share it with you. Every item in the house was thoughtfully chosen for daily comfort and enjoyment—the couch for its coziness, the artwork because I love it, and the kitchen stocked for full-time living. I hope you feel at home quickly and have everything you need during your stay. Plus, the backyard is a true retreat, featuring a beautiful large pool and a six-person hot tub.
