Un formidable séjour !

Nous avons un très bon séjour à La Geneste. La maison est très agréable, la décoration est très soignée et l’extérieur est magnifique. Charles-Etienne et Mairead sont des hôtes extrêmement accueillants et disponibles. Encore un grand merci à vous deux ! Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Luxury accommodation and fabulous stay

What an amazing place! A real 5* destination with everything we could possibly need from a fully equipped kitchen to a great selection of books and garden activities! Charles and Mairead were fabulous hosts. Plus a family highlight - the daily visits from their lovely little dog Nacho! La Geneste is so lovely - traditional, modern and comfortable all in one, in a peaceful location where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and nights under the stars whilst being not too far away to enjoy the attractions of the area. We will definitely be looking to come back next year!

Superb property wonderful hosts

Property has everything we needed and more. Also more spacious than the photos suggest. Beautiful setting and hosts are extremely helpful and generous. Perfect for disabled person too with ground floor bed and shower room. Wonderfully peaceful place!

Excellent Séjour à la Campagne

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison attenante à celle des propriétaires mais qui savent être très accueillants et discrets à la fois. Les photos ne rendent pas le charme et la qualité des lieux, la maison à vraiment tout se qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour en famille ou avec des amis. Les espaces intérieurs sont plus grands qu'ils n'y paraissent et l'extérieur est très agréable avec son jardin bien entretenu et sa grande piscine. Au alentours on peut trouver de nombreux villages à caractère du Périgord ou l'on peut savourer l'esprit local et chaleureux.

Exceptional experience

Wonderful accomodations, beautiful surroundings and super friendly, discrete neighbours. We immediately felt welcomed and at home. The garden is great with a large swimming pool. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Anything you can think of to need in the kitchen, is available. There is plenty to appreciate in and around the house as well as in the neigbourhoud if you want to venture out and go visiting midieval villages, castles, markets or go kayaking.

Absolutely delightful family! They really took advantage of this beautiful region. We were so glad to have had the opportunity of hosting them in the Dordogne. They came as visitors, lived here as great neighbors and left as friends. We were all so sad to see them go and hope to see them again very soon.
