Your Home Away From Home in the heart of Oltrarno

Our apartment of 90 sq. meters is located on the ground floor of an ancient building in a quieter street of San Frediano, the heart of Oltrarno. It is a perfect location, a close walk to everything you might wish to see in Florence (15/20 minutes to Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, the Duomo), but away from all the bustle of tourism across the river. San Frediano is a wonderful and truly authentic neighborhood, a fine mix of authentic and typical restaurants, original artisans and coffee shops, bars, grocery stores. Not to mention the amazing Churches and historical sites normally not listed in the guide books. This area is a true representation of how real people live and work in Florence.
This location made all the difference, you’ll love this neighborhood!

Built in a part of an ancient convent, today the house is completely restored with terracotta floors and vaulted ceilings. It is ideal for 4 guests or families with children or couples.The place has two bedrooms, one large kitchen/living room, two bathrooms (one with shower). There is a sliding glass door that can be pulled shut separating the beds from the dining area.
There is also a double sofa bed available for two extra guest.

The apartment is equipped with every comfort, air conditioning, FREE wi-fi, washing machine, TV, microwave, coffee machine.

Private parking spot available on site (reservation is needed). Price: 30€ per day.

We had a wonderful stay. The owner was very welcoming and gave us excellent suggestions right in the neighborhood. We had an incredible dinner at a restaurant he recommended, enjoyed the local market, and were delighted to find amazing gelato just around the corner. Plus, his coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had.

Enjoyed this beautiful apartment. It was easy walking distance to the things we wanted to see in a safe neighborhood. Wonderful stay except that there is only 1 shower. It is truly a 1 1/2 bathroom but it is worth staying there! Great place!

The magic of Florence

Short, Yet Wonderful Stay

My cousins and I only stayed on the property for two days, but Pietro went above and beyond to help us get the most out of our short stay. At check-in he drew out local favorites for us to visit and even offered to make us reservations. The property was exactly what was pictured and you simply cannot ask for a better host.

Great spot for exploring Florence

Excellent location for exploring Florence. Great communication with host- we were let in a few hours early on a rainy day ! Lots of good restaurants nearby, no need to cross the bridge.Bedrooms a little cramped, but clean and quiet. Everywhere is walkable, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay outside the busy tourist area.

We had a wonderful trip to Florence and Pietro was a terrific host! The apartment was beautiful and more than spacious enough for our family of four. Pietro was a terrific host, providing restaurant recommendations and getting us a reservation at a local restaurant called Il Guscio (you must eat there!). The neighborhood has coffee shops and restaurants but is away from the noise of the downtown area while still being close by. We highly recommend staying here!!

This is a really great place. All as advertized. Nice, safe area near a park. Spacious, clean, and well provisioned. I stayed here with two of my daughters for a week. The host and staff were very responsive and clear with instructions. No complaints at all. Would happily stay here again.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is located in the heart of "Oltrarno", the most artistic, quiet, authentic and quaint area of Florence. Here you can find great little osterias and shops down every street. Five minutes walking from here you find the charming Piazza Santo Spirito, where you find restaurants and pizzerias, a place always full of life.

San Frediano is a real residential neighbourhood and only a 15 minute walk over the bridge and into the main attraction area of the city (Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi ...)
