Windham Mountain is just 5 minutes away from this 4-bed, 3.5-bath vacation rental townhouse, so guests can roll out of bed and into the complimentary shuttle to Windham Mountain (in the winter) to waste no time hitting the slopes! Hunter mountain only 6 miles away.

Mountain getaway

We had a great experience with this rental and the host. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions in timely manner. This rental is in very convenient location close to the mountains.

Perfect Location in Windham

This was the perfect property and space for a 2 fam (8ppl) ski getaway. Everything described in terms of location and layout of space was accurate. The owners were very prompt in communication and accommodating while onsite. We didn't take advantage of the shuttle but saw it in action. The schedule looked great! We will definitely recommend and consider this property again.

RENTER BEWARE...DO NOT RENT...FILTHY!!!

DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE!! We are a ski family and rent VRBO properties frequently. We are 5 Star renters who have been members of VRBO for close to 10 years. This place was by far the WORST place I have ever rented.The cleanliness of the place was a NEGATIVE 10 (dirty toilets and private part hair found in the bathrooms is just completely UNACCEPTABLE.) Floors that have not been washed in ages. A countertop where you can see a layer of dust and a fridge with crumbs and smeared food on the door. A broken valence that almost fell on my head when I went to close the blinds. I took pictures and sent to the owner immediately. I requested a discount at first then a full refund once I saw the hair in the bathroom. I was willing to settle for a discount, but their only response was for me to pack up and leave in order to be compensated. Yeah right, pack up an entire car load after I just unpacked with five kids and one who bruised a rib while skiing and was in a lot of pain. They had no remorse what so ever. No apologies, nothing. It was completely disgusting the way they behaved. The kicker...they were next door the entire time in the other unit they owned. I was not aware of that until I went outside the next morning and saw their car parked in unit 50 spot. They didn't even have the decency to come over and see for themselves. Save yourself the disgust and find another place to rent.

An okay stay

In the interest of fairness I’ll honestly cover pros and cons. Pros: it’s a modern building in a nice little townhome community. It’s got plenty of bedroom space over 3 floors and enough beds to sleep an army. It’s got plenty of bathrooms and neat little kitchenette. The kids liked having space upstairs to play, and the grass area outside was fun for games. Cons: we can’t really justify the cost given that our personal experience was a bit more hectic. The freezer was broken when we first arrived (leaking water and still full of previous tenants’ defrosted food)… I ended up kind of fixing it myself, the coffee pot was moldy. We had to give up the outdoor furniture to new tenants next door half way through our stay, and in general the interior had definitely seen some partying (every plate is chipped, some broken railing spindles, etc.) One heads up - none of the dishware is microwave safe, and it will super-heat to 4,000F and burn your hand

I wish you would have mentioned that your stay was a long-term, not a short-term rental and that the owners were extremely responsive to all of the issues that occurred during your stay. The refrigerator repairman was scheduled for a visit the next day when you reported that the freezer issue was fixed. We purchased a new set of dishes and were sent to the unit the next day. As well as a new coffee pot was purchased to accommodate all of the needs.

Hensonville Retreat

I’d strongly recommend staying at this location for anyone looking to get away. It was a beautiful location, with friendly neighbors and a lot of serene locations to visit. The property manager was very receptive, making the process a seamless and enjoyable stay for all.
