Southern Star Ranch is a beautiful ranch home surrounded by 15 acres high on top of a hill. The house is made of limestone rock that was brought in from Austin during construction. The home has 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and an executive office. The backyard is a country oasis that includes a large pool with rocks and waterfall and an outdoor covered entertainment and cooking pavilion. Covered porches with scenic views wrap around all sides of the house. The property also has a large fire pit near the pool and house. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans. The property is fenced and has an automatic entrance gate. Gas and charcoal grills available for guests to use. Direct TV, outdoor TV, large TV's inside. Washer and dryer. This home is the perfect getaway from the city. Come enjoy peace of mind and country life at its finest.

It is a beautiful home with great furnishings, gathering areas and a great pool. The porch was lovely for sitting any time of day. The kitchen had everything we needed with extras like napkins, plastic silverware, salt and pepper, and many other basics you might need. All applicances worked great, beds were comfortable, A/C worked well. Great seating area in den, office area perfect for setting up games or puzzles. It also had a floor standing video games with many options includeing lot of the old standards - Pacman, Frogger etc. Kids loved it. Extra freezer, washer and dryer, dishwasher, great a/c, all sorts of little extras that make sure your visit goes smoothly. Landscaping was lovely - featured many Texas natives and other plantings perfect for the area - very attractive and brought hummingbirds early and late in day. lap blankets and beach towels in baskets so they could be grabbed if needed. Great grill outside altho we did not use it - perfect place for family gatherings. There were many small helpful and charming touches throughout, and I am sure I have missed naming a few - but it was truly set up for comfort and convenience. This was our 2nd stay there and our first choice for special family celebrations. Only an hour away from Houston so a great weekend getaway without excess travel time. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We appreciated the efficient air conditioning in the Texas summer heat. We three 50-something women throw off our responsibilities for a week each summer and stay at this lovely ranch. This was year four for us.
