About this property

What is BoB? Best of Both! BoB has beautiful mountain views and creek access to one of the most pristine creeks in Western North Carolina. The creek is at the end of the road, NOT on the property. Just two miles to the Fires Creek Recreation area where you will find miles of hiking trails and a swimming and picnic area and a small waterfall. Also close to Murphy , NC (about 12 miles) where you can enjoy the Harrah's Cherokee Casino. Lake Chatuge is in nearby Hiawassee, GA with a movie theater, restaurants and a marina for boat rentals. Downtown Hayesville is very quaint with shops, restaurants, a brewery and live entertainment on the courthouse square during warm weather. Grocery shopping is about 5 miles away.

30th wedding anniversary

Wonderful .. this was our 2nd visit we spent our anniversary for the past 2years @ BOB.. It’s private and peaceful .. exactly what we love. Supplies was plentiful everything you need .. We will be back again someday.. Btw you must try Mariolino’s so good..

Paradise let's keep it a secret.

Well I'm in my mid-60s been traveling for many years and have spent a lot of full Summers and places all over the world. But here is a spot in the beginning of the Southern Smoky mountains that will live in your heart for many years to come. The area the combinations fabulous. The caretakers are so pleasant to work with. I know this sounds like a review that they would do themselves but seriously. I hope to go back and stay again for the 4 months that we were there. The owners were so pleasant to work with and we have exchange phone numbers and I hope to see them in the future. But don't hesitate if you're going to stay there for a weekend or stay there for the whole summer like we did. We will be coming back. J&J of Venice Florida and thank you to you too you know who you are.

Great placw to stay with professional host.

House was perfect for trip and beautiful views. Host was very professional and house was setup perfectly. Very clean and easy to get to in the mountains. Thank you again!

Perfect Getaway

BoB was perfect for my wife and me. We enjoyed the quiet and private location. The kitchen was well stocked. Denise was very responsive and helpful. We have recommended this nice place to our friends.
