Our apartment BELA LUISA in a very quiet residence, on the 1st floor with elevator of 104m2, with a living room with air conditioning of 32m2, including 2 sofas, a fitted kitchen dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, Delta plus capsule machine, 1 suite double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, a second bathroom with shower, a 19m2 terrace with barbecue, table, parasol, 2 deckchairs and 1 outdoor sofa, view of the outdoor swimming pool and garden, sunny morning. Tea towels, Towels, and sheets provided, as well as duvet for the winter.
1 parking space in the basement in front of elevator, provision of parasol, and furniture for children, high chair, booster seat and travel cot.
5mm on foot from the center of Santa Luzia, and 2.5km from Tavira, by cycle path.

Véronique and Sergey were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave us oranges and lemons from their garden.The apartment was perfect. Very spacious and even better than the photographs. The outside balcony was perfect for sunny breakfasts with a good size table and very comfortable loungers. The swimming pool was kept very clean.The area is beautiful and you can walk easily into Santa Luzia where there is a very regular ferry to take you to the beach. There is a very nice cafe opposite the ferry too. Several good restaurants in Santa luzia but we also drive into Tavira which is a beautiful town with many restaurants to choose from.I would not hesitate to recommend Véronique’s place and we would love to return.

This was our second stay in this lovely apartment. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They were able to let us check in earlier than expected. The apartment is beautifully decorated with all the facilities you could need. It's very clean and homely. The owners were very kind and delivered us some figs and lemon from their garden. Santa luzia itself is a lovely fishing village away from the hustle and bustle of Tavira but still in walking distance. We had an amazing holiday.Thank you Veronique and Sergio.

Relaxing location and great accommodation

Comfortable and Quiet

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was excellent, only steps to the Santa Luzia waterfront, and provided easy access to nearby Tavira. Petra’s de Rei and the lovely Praia Do Barril were within easy walking distance. It was simple to communicate with the owner, Veronique and she quickly responded to any questions we had. Highly recommended.

Perfect accommodation for your stay. Lovely deck to enjoy the warm evenings. Everything needed to cook and prepare meals. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 baths. Even a dishwasher! A pool as well. We enjoyed all of it, including the parking. Planning to return!

Perfect Stay

Stayed here September 2023 and was the ideal base for exploring the eastern Algarve and into Spain, so a hire car is a must. Travelled from Faro airport via the N125 and was easy to find. Apartment is large and airy, the balcony gets the sun in the morning for breakfast. Full cooking and laundry facilities. Parking is underground and there’s a lift. Area is quiet and there’s a cafe just a few yards down the street. Communications with the hosts were perfect and we were met upon arrival. Highly recommended, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Roomy apartment in Santa Luzia

We stayed for three weeks in Veronique’s apartment. It is spacious with great natural light. The large balcony overlooking the pool is a nice place to relax. We did use the pool a couple of times, and it was lovely. There are only a couple umbrellas available, though, and all of them have at least one broken “spoke.” Access to the pool is through the underground (and very dark) parking garage, which was strange and uncomfortable. As is typical in a lot of European rentals, there aren’t as many outlets as one would like, the lighting (for reading at nighttime) isn’t great, etc. These are small items which aren’t deal breakers. The couches in the apartment aren’t all that comfortable, but fortunately there are a lot of pillows to help you get as comfortable as possible. We did not know that the ferry stopped running in mid-October, so we could not get to the beautiful beach. It would have been good to know that up front. A lot of restaurants closed down too, after mid-October. Veronique, the apartment owner, lives in France but was accessible and responded quickly to any questions we had. She has an “on-site” person who met us upon arrival and showed us the apartment. She also came once a week to change the towels and linens, which was great. I left a few clothing items behind, and Veronique coordinated with her on-site person to find, package, and ship them to me at our next stop in Portugal. I am eternally grateful for that kindness.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung.Alles vorhanden was man für 1-2 Wochen Aufenthalt braucht.Ein Pool ist vorhanden. Ein Tiefgaragenstellplatz auch.Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war immer hervorragend.Der Check in klappte einwandfrei.Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal hier in dieser Wohnung und würden auch wieder ein drittes Mal wieder kommen.

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man kann sich darin wohlfühlen. Zu bedenken ist, dass in dieser Jahreszeit die Temperaturen teilweise einstellig sind. Daher ist es ratsam auch warme Kleidung dabei zu haben. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern und die Schlüsselübergabe mit Gloria waren unkompliziert und hilfreich. Die Silvesternacht in Tavira ( 3 Km entfernt) können wir sehr empfehlen.

Éramos 4. O apartamento é muito bom e tinha tudo o que é preciso para uma estadia de férias. A zona é muito calma bem como o prédio. Esquecemos da chave uma vez e a dona Glória foi muito prestável (tendo em conta que já era 1 hora da manhã). Se voltar a Tavira ficarei no mesmo apartamento.
