Light, fabulous, penthouse set in a manicured garden for those who enjoy their comforts whilst having a peaceful holiday. Beautifully furnished in a contemporary style with full air conditioning/heating including bedrooms. A marble staircase leads to the huge private roof terrace equipped with table, chairs, sun loungers, settee, gas BBQ and wind sensor electric awning for shade on those hot days. Absolutely perfect for a leisurely breakfast, sunbathing/relaxing during the day or an evening drink watching the sunset. The complex is small, so the large pool area and childrens pool never feels crowded. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers around the pool area. Free, ample parking at the complex. Free wifi.
Travel cot/high chair available to hire.
Beach/pool towels not included.
Final cleaning included. Additional cleaning on request chargeable.

We spent just over a week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Our host Gail was fabulous and always contactable for any questions or queries.The location was excellent, making it easy to explore Tavira and the surrounding area. Tavira itself is a lovely town, with plenty of excellent restaurants, full of culture and very a quaint town. It has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return!

A fantastic apartment in a quiet complex within walking distance of central Tavira. Excellent Communication with the host prior and during our stay. Hard to pick a fault with anything tbh…maybe a few more sun beds around the pool wouldn’t go amiss!

I will take this up with the management company and other owners so hopefully we can agree on the purchase of additional sunbeds. That is why it is so handy to have the private roof terrace with four sunbeds when there is limited sunbeds around the pool. Hopefully you will return in the near future.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay.The swimming pool is excellent and the gardens are well looked after.The apartment has plenty of space for 4 people and also has a very large roof terrace complete with an electric awning.The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathrooms are both excellent.You can walk into Tavira in 10 minutes although the steps are a challenge on the way back.We will be back

The front door is slightly warped at the bottom from the horrendous weather suffered in the Algarve over the last few month's. It does not effect the lock and during your stay we sent out the maintenance guy to check it. Reference the WIFI you were contacted on 6th April and asked to contact Dulce from the management company as MEO the WIFI provider will firstly talk you through the set up before warranting a visit. You did not make contact with the management company. Therefore I believe I tried my best to sort the problems at the time.

We loved the property! So spacious, clean and has everything you need. The swimming pool is right outside your steps! It was so nice to refresh in the pool after a day of exploring in the heat. Gail was in touch every time we had a question. The check in was very smooth, no issues at all. The kitchen is well stocked with any appliances: stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher. There are plenty of cutlery, dishes, cups, glasses, pots and pans. The property location is great, lots of parking outside, we never had an issue parking. The tv has Netflix, so you can relax in the evening and watch a movie. The rooftop was amazing! We loved having dinners and wines there in the evening. There are large balconies all around the condo. Having a morning coffee on the balcony was very nice. The few things we wished we had: simple pepper and a few basic spices. There is nothing but salt and a bit of sugar. Cooking oil, as we stayed for only 4 days and had to buy a whole bottle of olive oil to use for making eggs in the morning and for salads. Also having a dishwasher tablet for everyday of our stay would be great. We only had 2, and you can't buy just a few of those, unfortunately. Having a hand soap in the kitchen, would also be nice, we just had to get it from one of the washrooms, and it wasn't very convenient, as you couldn't wash your hands after using that washroom.

Thank you for your detailed review and awarding the penthouse 10/10. Just a couple of points I want to reply to which will hopefully confirm things for future guests. We are advised not to keep any unused grocery goods as it is a significant health hazard. Regarding the supply of dishwasher tablets, we supply a small starter pack which includes a couple of dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, dish cloth, washing up liuquid etc This is basically to tide you over until you are able to get your own supplies. The hand soap in the two bathrooms is left as a goodwill gesture as we are selfcatering and not a serviced property. Hope this helps.

We loved Tavira

We had 6 lovely days in Tavira and fell in love with the place. Felt such an authentic place, not too busy or touristy and stunning. The apartment was lovely, met our needs perfectly and the proximity to the pool was brilliant. The roof top terrace a real bonus - although needs better lighting at night! Great Penthouse !

We had a wonderful stay at Gail's Penthouse - the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. The roof terrace is great with lots of space for sunbathing, eating or just relaxing. Location is very good, only a 10-15 min walk into town and also easy access from the main road if travelling around the area. Communication with the host was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Tavira

I loved Gail's property. It is perfectly situated in a quiet residential area. The walk into town is no problem although down & up many steps. The complex is well cared for and the apartment overlooks the expansive pool and grounds. It is a well planned spacious property aapartment

Fabulous

We had a great time in Tavira and loved the penthouse. It was very well equiped, comfortable, homely and modern. The roof terrace was superb and the electric awning meant sun to shade was easy.
