Luxury Penthouse Apartment in Cabanas de Tavira, Eastern Algarve, Portugal

This fully equipped luxury apartment is on the Quinta de Gomeira development. Ideally situated in the picturesque fishing village of Cabanas, it is a short stroll from the centre with its numerous café-bars and restaurants serving delicious local fish and other dishes at affordable prices. The local Island beach has 3km of wide golden sands. Facilities include use of a choice of 4 beautifully landscaped and maintained swimming pools. There is a very friendly family run cafe bar on the Quinta Gomeira development. There are 4 golf courses nearby. Golf clubs are available for hire on request. Cabanas is an ideal base for exploring the Algarve with regular train and bus services.
All bedlinen and towels are provided. Guests must bring their own beach/pool towels.

The flat was well furnished and comfortable. Bev, the owner, met us on arrival and briefed us on things we needed to know. Although local, Bev was an unintrusive host. We enjoyed our stay with a mix of relaxing on the large patio terrace on some wonderfully warm sunny days and also exploring the picturesque eastern Algarve.

Great holiday

Property was as described, spacious and the outdoor terraces were terrific. Everything you could wish for in a self catering apartment was provided. Location was great, just a 5 minute walk from all bars and restaurants. The whole booking process was seemless and Bev met us on arrival with a warm welcome and was on hand throughout the holiday to help where necessary. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would recommend the apartment.

Great Terrace

We had a great stay,spotlessly clean, lovely flat with plenty of space, balcony was spacious,great for breakfast. Roof Terrace gets sun all day. Only 5 minute walk to sea front,which has ample restaurants and bars. Really nice stay!

Roomy property with fantastic terraces, within a short walk from restaurants and small supermarkets. Pool areas are designed for swimming/cooling down rather than sunbathing as there are no loungers. However, the property’s good sized private roof terrace with loungers means that this isn’t an issue. Very helpful property managers.

Short stay in Cabanas

We had a short stay in Cabanas before travelling West. It was our first time in the area but absolutely loved it. Very convenient for Tavira which is lovely & we also had a trip into Spain. Train service excellent into Tavira & further West to pick up the Ferry for Ayamonte. Will definitely visit the area again & the apartment was perfectly placed for exploring.

Great Apt Cabanes

The apartment was wonderful for the two of us to make home as we wandered all over the Algarve and to Sevilia Spain. There were two big outside decks, a lower off the main floor and an upper to enjoy the sun. Very easy to get around the area with our rental car. I would highly recommend the place to stay for anyone wanting a good homebase to use and then see all the highlights of the area.

Great place to relax

Great communication by Host especially when we got a little lost and Bev helped guide us over the phone to our destination. Her place was immaculate and sitting on the patio drinking coffee while the sun rose and the birds flew around was always a great start to the day. Lots of outside space with 3 outside patios. Highly recommended and would return anytime.

Great appart

Nice place. Even better than in pictures. Nice to have a charcoal: fish and gambas were great. Local beach, accessible by boat, was fantastic. It's also worth it to drive West, if you can, to see the rest of Algarve.

Lovely Apartment

A very relaxing place 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable and very well equipped, a real home from home. The beaches in the area are stunning, go to Barril beach on the train just west of Tavira. Wonderful!!

Fantastic Apartment

Superbly equipped, comfortable and clean apartment. Centrally located for walking to everywhere in Cabanas. The outside space, for us, was the highlight of this apartment. No hesitation in recommending this apartment and would certainly return.

EXCELLENT APARTMENT.

We loved this apartment had a great time, it's in a nice neighbourhood and close to everything you will need, Supermarket, restaurants and the ferry to the beach, the place is spotlessly clean with all the amenities in the kitchen including a washer which was a big plus for us as we had a 4yr old little un with us, and the outdoor terraces are amazing. Defo stay here again.

Great value, beautiful apartment in stunnibg cabanas

Comminication was excellent and we were able to check in early due to arriving early due to train strikes. The apartment was perfect for our needs ( 2 adults, 2 teenagers) and Cabanas exceeded our expectations. The beach is beautiful and all the restaurants etc were great value and lovely food. We hired bikes and rode to tavira which is well worth a visit too. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing break in Cabanas

Perfect location with short walk to lovely boardwalk with restaurants, well stocked supermarket, bus stop & train station. Found local butchers which was great too. Apartment was very comfortable for our week there, great outdoor space. Beds were a bit hard for us but that could just be down our old bones 😄 Communication with Paul & Bev was excellent and we'd have no hesitation booking with them again. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back 😃
