I truly enjoyed the condo and the property was also great. The amenities at the facility are nice, and perfect for families. The beach gets busy, as to be expected, but we reserved beach chairs and an umbrella which was worth the cost. Easy access to Destin and getting in and out of town.

We had a great time! The condo was just about perfect. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The only thing missing was the view overlooking the pool and the Gulf that was portrayed on the website for A513, Octopus's Garden. We faced the parking lot and side of the Hilton Garden Inn next door. We will be back, but will make sure the view from the condo matches the view shown on the website.

Fabulous time!

This was our first time coming to the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area and had the best time! Our kids loved all the amenities at this property especially the pools and prim location to the beach. Our unit was the perfect size to house two families for a week long vacation. Kids loved the bunk room and especially the TV's for in the morning when they woke up and at night before bed. Great place for a family vacation! We will definitely be back in the future!

Amazing stay

Our family got together to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday. We rented three condos in building A and we had the best time. The condos are so convenient to the beach, the pool was a great option when we were tired of the sand and the little pool bar was nice to have for drinks! Our condo was clean, beautifully decorated and perfect for our family of 6. The little kids loved the bunk room. The beach was gorgeous and we also loved having the two chairs and umbrella to take a break from the sun. Highly recommend this place, we will be back.

Hats off to Pinky! This condo has any and everything you could possibly imagine. She has thought of everything & Exceptionally clean! We were flying in and didn't want to pack a pack n play and asked her if she had one and there was one waiting for us when we arrived. Resort is very nice! Kids enjoyed the play area. Best condo hands down! Pinkie is the best! 5 Star plus!!

Good family spot.

Overall the condo and resort are great for families. My only complaint is I wish we would’ve been told prior there was going to be a massive teen church camp there (1200 teens)all week . We would’ve never booked this week had we known that. I had to grab out our little ones from multiple pool areas so they wouldn’t get trampled on, and we had to adjust our day schedule because of it!!! It’s just a lot of money to spend to then have to adjust what we wanted to do for teens!!! I think every family there felt the exact same!!!

Nice but could use some fixes

Overall, the condo is nice. Nice furnishings, very comfortable beds, the kitchen was stocked with most of the necessities for cooking, Cons…. The condo could use a GOOD deep cleaning. The bunks looked like they had not been clean. There was food & dirt below TVs. The base boards were gross. The sheets & towels were less then sub par. I think if owners update sheets & towels & do a better job cleaning I could give this place a 5 star.

Beware of excpectations

Overall this property wasn't bad. The unit itself was clean and mostly in working order other than a few minor issues (missing cabinet pulls, etc.). The biggest disappointment for us was the expectation that the view from the unit would be the view in the very first picture of the listing. My wife, daughter, and I booked this unit purely for the view. We did not need a 2 BR with bunk room and foldout couch but paid more expecting a nice view from the balcony. In fact, the only view from the balcony directly overlooks the dumpsters and HVAC at the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn. Additionally, the HVAC is so loud, you can't enjoy the balcony. If you are looking for a room with a view, this is not it.

Great 10 days

Great 10 days I did give it 5 stars due to it being end of season and the condos have a rough year. We usually come in June so everything is clean and new. This condo was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It does need some touch up and painting. Also needs some new supplies like a can opener and some cooking utensils. The view is decent but every am the hotel next door trash comes around 630 and is very loud. Again not pinkies fault. All in all we would stay again. Fresh paint and a day of repairs would make it perfect. This was our 8th trip to waterscape, we have stayed in alot of units and are considering buying one and this unit was top 3 for sure. I would maybe consider putting a electric skillet in condo also maybe a wagon. We had our own but all the others we have stayed in had them as well. For sure it's time for new cookware especially a can opener lol. Thanks again for a great 10 days.

Octopus Garden A513

Pros: great condo complex with lots of wonderful amenities! Great location! Beautiful landscaping and decor of the condo. Beautiful beach and we loved the scenery of all the sand dunes and water on our way to Destin. Short drive to Destin which was great. Cons: The dishwasher was broken The ice maker barely worked. It took the entire week to make a descent tray of ice. Condo didn’t have a fully stocked kitchen like it claimed to have. It was lacking a few essentials if one wanted to truly stay in and cook. I didn’t have everything I like to use when I tried cooking breakfast in the condo. Condo floors weren’t the cleanest. Pool wristbands were the type you have to put on and leave on. (Not reusable if you take it off & not adjustable if you get it too loose or too tight) should’ve been a rubber wristband / bracelet style (Largest Master bedroom) Mattress had a huge stain in the center of it like some one had previously spilled drinks on it

Administration/registration/check-in was all outstanding. Easy to navigate property and have a good time. Good information provided prior to stay. Octopus Wonderland!

Such an amazing stay over Thanksgiving. I can't say enough on how much we enjoyed this place. Best amenities of Fort Walton Beach and attention to every detail. The pool area was a bit smaller and more crowded than we anticipated, but overall it was nice, just get there early if you want a place to sit. The condo we stayed in was large enough for all 6 of us and beach access was very convenient. Overall it was a good experience.
