Just what we wanted!
The property was beautiful and perfect for a girls' trip. Communication with Devon was seamless. Everyone on the trip was saying how great the house was and we especially appreciated the cleanliness along with the amenities, which were very appreciated!

Great Place to Stay!
Stayed for a week over Thanksgiving. We had a great visit. The house was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you might need (and more). The three bedrooms are good size too. There isn't a driveway where we could park. But we had no problem parking on the street near the house. The house is close to the tow path (running, biking or walking) and near Lambertville. Communication with our hosts was great. I highly recommend staying at the house.

Wonderful cousins weekend!
We came from Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia and Northern NJ to enjoy this beautiful setting. We loved the spaciousness of the house, beautiful fall decor and location to downtown. Thank you for all the little details that made us all so comfortable!

Charming town and home
We enjoyed our stay. It’s a quick walk into town and trail. They even provided our large group with more bikes! Thanks for the snacks and treats!

Wonderful experience!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Barn Door Cottage. Plenty of parking on the street, and close to everything in Lambertville and New Hope. The house was so clean and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything and were so kind to leave extras of small items in the pantry. We would absolutely recommend this property and will definitely stay again if we get the chance.

Jim and I have a passion for renovating homes and making them into comfortable and useful spaces. Homes want to be loved and we are forever trying to give love to our properties. We get great joy from watching the evolution of each of properties through time. I was raised on a farm and my family made a living with horses and dogs. My father was a racehorse trainer and my mother taught horseback riding while also breeding and showing dogs. My educational background is in mathematics and statistics and it has served me well in my career. Basically, I love animals, math and old homes!

Why they chose this property

We lived in this house for 7 years before moving to a farm nearby. We worked to make this a lovely place to stay and it is truly a lovely place to stay and enjoy with a group.

What makes this property unique

Private yard with a lovely patio and fire pit.
