4 of us stayed here. Lance was very responsive when we had a question. Easy to get to Peddlar’s Village, New Hope and Lambertville,. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed. Plenty of room to spread out. It was a rainy and cold weekend so we did not enjoy the yard.
We had a great time. The place was perfect and very cozy. Great location and owner was great with information on getting in and location. Would definitely stay again.
A gem in New Hope with lovely grounds, fabulous gardens and everything needed for a comfortable, welcoming stay! Close to everything New Hope and Lambertville have to offer. Lance is a terrific host, thoughtful and easy to work with. We will definitely be back to stay for our next visit to Bucks County! Thank you Lance & family!
We rented the house because my son was getting married in New Hope. I had to bring my two German Shepherd's with us PLUS my daughter's blind Shar Pei. Lance was wonderful about bringing all 3 dogs. He even left out dog bowls, dog toy, and biscuits for my pups! Would definitely recommend this property! The home is clean and plenty of room. BIG back yard with a veggie garden and fruit trees.
Clean and wonderful artsy feel. Our group of five ladies were comfortable and found everything we needed. Close to Peddlers Alley, wineries and Fonthill Castle. The host was very responsive and friendly.
Lance’s property in bucks county was perfect for our family trip to visit family. It is in convenient location to services, yet very quiet and peaceful. Everything about the property was exactly as listed. We would definitely stay here again for any future visits back to PA to visit family!
Lance’s home is beautiful and was perfect for our needs. He is a thoughtful and caring host. We had a young baby staying at the house and he voluntarily put up a crib, a pack n play, a baby gate and put out toys. We will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Lance.
Perfect for families wanting to enjoy Bucks county
This house is perfect for families. We stayed here with my toddler and another family with two young children and it was extremely comfortable for all of us. It's got plenty of charm and the layout meant we weren't getting in each other's way. The living room has plenty of seating and the kitchen is large and well stocked. There's also a huge backyard with a garden that the kid's loved running around in. The bedrooms were all good sizes and it had everything we needed, including toys for the kids. The owner was super responsive and very accommodating. We hope to stay here again!
I recently visited the New Hope area with my family of 6 and my parents. Lance's home was well appointed and was very comfortable for all 8 of us. The yard is huge and was a wonderful place for my children to run around (there's also a kid swing and a grill). There was a kids room with toys and books and Lance was gracious enough to set up a pack n' play and crib for our twins, a huge bonus when traveling! Lance was quick to respond with property inquiries before and during our stay. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a great place to stay near New Hope!

Mid Century Modern/ Vintage 1920's House
The house was everything we could have asked for. Beautiful beds, impeccable vintage linens in the bathrooms. A library table and books to delight any bibliophile. The Kitchen was equipped with some one who loves to cook. The sharp knives were a pleasure to use, the furnishings were mid century modern, comfortable, with art, objects of interest and charm in every corner. Thank you Lance for being a responsive host; Loved arriving to coffee ground and awaiting a brew, and chocolate's We would stay here again and again. It was a pleasure and more than met our needs. Very peacful house.

Houses (and hosts) like these make the case for home stays!
Our party of seven couldn't have been happier with our stay in Lance's charming house. The kids started playing with the many lovely toys stashed throughout the house the moment we arrived. The adults, foodies all, marveled at the array of quality cookware -- there was everything we needed to cook some serious meals, and then some. (And we happily sampled the box of chocolates Lance thoughtfully left for us.) We all appreciated how comfortable and stylish the home is. Lance and his family have an eye for design and a wall of art books to match. And the pellet stove? Firing it up on a cold night while we sat around and talked was heaven. I would return in a heartbeat.

Charming spot in a beautiful area
We came to the New Hope area for a family wedding, and this was a wonderful spot to stay — less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to various spots like orchards, markets, and charming hamlets. The design of the house is quite cool, with tasteful touches and beautiful furniture, but it also has a homey vibe. It was VERY kid-friendly, and the owner provided a bunch of things (booster seat, pack and play, safety gate) to make our trip much easier. Our daughter especially loved the backyard swing and spotting deer behind the house.

Comfortable Well Designed Retreat
It was a lovely long weekend getaway from the city. The house is very nicely appointed, every detail thought of, down to the toys and treats for our dog and coffee and chocolate for us. Warm, cozy, close to the town but secluded. Hooe to visit again!

Greet Wedding Weekend!
Stayed with a group of friends at the house this past weekend for a wedding near New Hope and had an absolute blast! House is clean, comfortable, relaxing, and in a very convenient location. Lance and Nicole were very warm and welcoming and even told us to have our pick of fresh vegetables from their beautiful garden! Look forward to visiting again in the near future!

A TRUE COUNTRY GET-AWAY HOUSE
The house was quite lovely. Nicely laid out and peaceful. They had a bottle on wine waiting for us. We would have liked a DVD player hooked up to the TV, but we did have access to NetFlix and Amazon. Also, perhaps a small basket of toiletry supplies - i.e. shampoo, cream, etc. Otherwise, it was a great location - convenient to all of our activities. Would definitely entertain staying there again.

We loved the house! Very nicely appointed and comfortable; perfect for our short stay, visiting with Mom. The yard was good and just right for our dog to have a place to run. The only complaint we have was with the water pressure. Still, we had a great time and loved the area.

Beautiful home and great location!
We came for a weekend getaway. The house was charming and comfortable. Lance could not have been more welcoming and gracious (including chocolate and wine on our arrival). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it very conveniently located for all of the area's activities. We're looking forward to our next visit.

About the host
Hosted by Lance Ferguson
I grew up in Kansas and moved to the east coast a few years back. My wife Nikole is from Doylestown and we have family in the area. Both of us work in creative industries. She is a fashion designer and I am a creative director. We have a son and two little maltese dogs and make up quite a nice little troop.
Why they chose this property
We loved the place when we first set eyes on it. The location is brilliant. Its far enough out from the bustle of the city to relax, but close enough to get involved. The house is from the 1920's and we keep putting our personal spin on it. We weren't looking for a McMansion.
