Great, walkable location. Home was very clean with nice amenities. We were really only there to sleep and shower but it hit all our needs. Would stay again!
We were a group made up of two couples, all in their forties, who were looking for a place to stay near New Hope. This location was perfect for us, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. New Hope is charming but so is Lambertville! We arrived around 7 pm on a Friday evening and street parking was not an issue, even though there were many people out and about. We would stay here again.

Cozy and Perfect
Cozy spot close to Everything Lambertville has to offer. Loved it. Really good beds! Slept like a rock. Walkable, clean, everything you need and good shower. Steps were no biggie at all. Quiet and close to town. Loved it! Also had a request of the owner and she was totally accommodating. Highly recommend!

House was clean and conveniently located to everything in Lambertville and New Hope. The only issue was the parking as the street was closed due to construction and we were not notified before hand. We found a spot but further away from the house

Modest VRBO
It was a great location for us... less than a mile from our daily destination. It's just a day bed in the small room which wasn't particularly comfortable and a king bed with a small shared bath separated from the daybed room by a drapery. The shower was good. The living room is small with just a sofa with a chaise attached, so with two non-family members sharing, there wasn't a place to sit other than the dining room. It's probably better for a couple or one person traveling alone. It's an old place, so you will hear your neighbors going to the bathroom and street noise. The location is good overall.

Cramped, super-steep stairs to the bedrooms. There are not two true bedrooms. The larger one has a door, but the second one has a curtain to close it off from the only shared bathroom right next to it. Very creaky old place, with bad sound insulation.
Wifi was not working when I arrived, and it took a day to hear back from the property manager. I got it fixed by rebooting the modem myself.

Not as advertised
The thermostat is falling off the wall and doesn’t work well
Ant problem in the kitchen
Water tastes like lead
Bathroom towel back broken and bathroom shelf broken
You have to step down and step up quite a large step but in a narrow space to go from the bedroom to the bathroom which is a complete safety Hazzard
While a historic home, updates are of poor quality, no amenities and the house is not being maintained well
Over priced for the area- which I stay in all the time
I’ll never return
Not what we were expecting - bare bones for a too high price
While the location was great for walking around town and close to the canal, river and New Hope, it faced a highly travelled road. We were two old friends on a brief girls getaway. Our main issue was that the house was much smaller, darker, and less well equipped than the VRBO description indicated. For example, there was no lamp at all in the second bedroom; no air-conditioning; no table, little storage, no dish rack, and no recycling bin in the kitchen; less than 1/4” of dish detergent for dishes: and no wastebaskets in the bedrooms or very small bathroom upstairs. The stairs themselves were not only steep, as described, but there was an odd landing at the top, with an extra step up to each bedroom. The good news: Lambertville itself is charming, the house was clean, the furniture was quite comfortable, the garden was lovely and private, and the owner accommodated our requests for early check-in and late check-out. Would return to Lambertville, but would look for a different home to stay in.

Hi Leni, we're so glad to hear the home was clean upon your arrival and you enjoyed the outdoor space, but we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:
- We’ve confirmed that we state the square footage of the property in the description, but we're sorry if the size caught you off guard.
- Due to your feedback, the owner has added a lamp to the second room.
- The air conditioning units were put in place after Memorial Day Weekend because of the cool weather in May.
- The owner confirmed that wastebaskets are provided, and they have followed up with the cleaning crew to ensure there is an adequate amount of items, which are supplied with the property.
Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Mold Nightmare
We stayed long enough to book a new place and to let evolve know this is unacceptable. We were greeted by the mold smell from a wet basement upon opening the front door. I can't sleep with that smell. I can't eat with that smell. I can't BREATHE with that smell. Hubby is trying to relieve the situation for me and he stumbles upon a wet vac....very clear message to me they know the basement is wet and now moldy. My nose just stopped burning and I still have a headache. Rent from a company who performs regular inspections because this is ridiculous; it's not even safe health wise! Also, there is gapping from the floor to the door - just Enough space for a critter to wander in and bees are making a nest so if you rent, stay inside. If I could upload pictures, I would.

Hi T, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify the following:
- We take pride in providing all of our guests with an enjoyable experience and make cleanliness a top priority. We were shocked and disappointed by your unfounded claim of mold in the home.
- We do have a shop vac in the basement, but that does not justify saying that the home has mold.
- We can say with certainty that there was no evidence of mold.
We will continue to do all we can to provide our guests with the best possible stay!
Stayed here for a weekend while attending a wedding in New Hope! Close enough to walk through Lambertville & across the bridge into New Hope, PA. Cute, clean house. Only thing to be aware of is the steep steps to the bed/bath upstairs! Was fine for us but could be an issue with little kids or older guests
Good location, easy parking. Fit the needs of our family well. Cute, historic building with just enough room for the 4 of us. The backyard patio was a nice place to relax at the end of the day or for morning coffee.

Terrible parking
Listing is misleading when it comes to parking. It’s not “additional parking” on the street. It’s the only parking. So be prepared to park far from the house.

Hi Kim, thank you for your review and we've shared it with the homeowner. The property is downtown, and the listing states that parking is street parking. It is free, and on a first-come, first-served basis. We are sorry this was unclear, and we're updating the listing to clarify. We appreciate your feedback!
