Welcome! I’m David, your host at Coyote Grove Chalet.
I have loved visiting Big Bear since my first trip snowboarding in the early 2000s. I’m an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys snowboarding, hiking, lake days, and exploring the Village. I also dabble in photography—some of my favorite Big Bear shots are hanging in the chalet. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I enjoy this special place!

Why they chose this property

I’ve been snowboarding in Big Bear for almost 20 years and always dreamed of having a place here. After searching on and off for a while, I walked into this home and knew it was the one. Located on a quiet, flat street in Lower Moonridge—one of Big Bear’s best neighborhoods—it’s easy to access year-round and close to everything. The ski slope views from the back patio and the inviting outdoor spaces really sealed the deal. Inside, the open yet cozy layout felt like the perfect mountain getaway.
It was truly love at first sight!

What makes this property unique

What makes my property unique is its cozy, wall-to-wall brick fireplace—a rare and charming centerpiece in the living room. I love the view of the wooden front deck from the living room window and the sight of the mountain slopes from the kitchen. But my favorite spot is the back patio, where you’ll find stunning slope views and a gas fire pit—perfect for relaxing with friends and family.
