Maison simple avec accĂšs via une Villa situĂ©e sur le mĂȘme terrain. L'accĂšs direct Ă  la plage est un vrai plus. L'ensemble mĂ©riterait un entretien un peu plus soignĂ©, y compris pour les parties extĂ©rieures oĂč la vĂ©gĂ©tation "protĂšge" de la vue sur mer. Ceci dit, on apprĂ©cie le calme et la situation gĂ©ographique idĂ©ale pour les balades.

A great place with lots of charm that would profit from some maintenance

This is a gem of a house in a perfect spot. The house is partly renovated with some great features (good kitchen, great scenic window). Considering the price some maintenance would be great. The wild garden has charme but would profit from some work as well. Communication with the very nice host had some hiccups but was engaged and helpful. We had a very nice week and will miss the place.

SEUL point positif : la localisation

Nous avons réalisé à notre arrivée un nettoyage extérieur complet (plusieurs brouettes de feuilles sur la terrasse), le nettoyage de la table et chaises plastiques dans un état vétuste, le défrichage du jardin (troncs d'arbre et branchages morts un peu partout), le fauchage des herbes hautes et fougÚres pour ouvrir l'accÚs à la mer, le nettoyage de toutes les huisseries (toiles d'araignée et divers détritus), le nettoyage de la terrasse... Heureusement que nous étions 6 à l'arrivée et que la personne qui nous a accueilli nous a apporté des balais pour cela. L'équipement n'est pas correct : 3 transats disponibles pour une location pour 8p (dont 1 cassé à la 1Úre assise et réparé par nous), un barbecue rouillé un peu partout et brinquebalant (cuve rouillée et percée, grille rachetée par nous), pas de table intérieur pour 8 personnes (table pour 4 voir 6 en bout de table mais pas 8), pas de penderie dans la maison, frigo se ferme mal et rouillé sur toute la partie inférieure (1 seul frigo vraiment pas immense pour 8p), four trÚs sale (nettoyage réalisé par nous 2 fois avant utilisation + grande aération de la cuisine pendant quelques heures), matelas dans une chambre à l'étage trÚs trÚs vieux en laine, plusieurs oreillers peu garnis et trÚs jaunis (nous en avons racheté 4 pour notre propre utilisation et 2 étaient venus avec leur oreiller), un seul plat four pas grand (et trÚs sale), ampoule de la salle de bain du 1er étage déjà grillée à notre arrivée (rachetée et changée par nous), les sÚche-serviettes des salles de bains ne chauffaient pas, une bouilloire électrique inutilisable (les plombs ont sauté plusieurs fois en l'essayant) l'accÚs au compteur électrique est dans un débarras de détritus diverses ( vieux matelas, outillage ? rouillé...), 2 énormes cabanes de jardins remplies et inaccessibles (morceaux de bois, vieux meubles cassés ...) pas de possibilités de stockage protégé et fermé de notre petit matériel de sports nautiques. Les volets et murs extérieurs n'ont pas eu de nettoyage et de coup de pinceaux depuis longtemps. Les mousses vertes s'accumulent sur le muret et sur la terrasse. L'aménagement du salon intérieur nécessiterait un petit canapé supplémentaire ( 1 seul canapé 2 places et 2 fauteuils 1 place) L'impression générale est qu'il n'y a pas d'entretien régulier de cette maison et pas de grand nettoyage de printemps fait avant la location de mai. Quel dommage pour une maison bord de mer au bois de la Chaise !
