Petite maison rustique, matériaux nobles ( et sans cov), jolie déco, bien équipée et idéalement située pour se balader entre Vézère et Dordogne. L'environnement est très calme, terrasse et piscine bien appréciables!

Zu viele Mängel

Um es vorweg zu nehmen: eine wunderschöne Anlage! Leider ist die Anfahrt kaum möglich, da viele, viele Schlaglöcher. wir hatten 2 Schlafzimmer gebucht. Vorgefunden haben wir ein Schlafzimmer und ein Stockbett auf dem Gang. Das Dach leider undicht, wir sind früher abgereist als Regen angesagt war. Am schlimmsten aber die Treppe nach oben. Zu steil, die Luke zu eng, Kopf anschlagen vorprogrammiert. Da die Lichter von unten geschaltet werden muss man nachts im Dunkeln runter und das wird richtig gefährlich. Schade, viele Mängel und das bei einer wunderschönen Außenanlage.

Entspannung pur

Ein wirklich schöner Ort und sich zu erholen und diese Gegend zu erkunden. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so für eine Urlaubswoche braucht. Einziger Nachteil ist die Treppe nach oben. Für größere Menschen oder mit Handicap kann sie eine echte Herausforderung sein. (siehe Foto- steil, gedreht und Durchgang eingeschränkt).

Rural charm

Initial confusion over check in was quickly resolved by email/call to responsive host. Tiny and cute but stairs to upper floor need agility to negotiate. Bring your own staples. Distance to shops made total lack of kitchen supplies inconvenient.

Beautiful setting

This old barn is set in a tranquil valley, overlooking ancient woodland. The property itself is full of character, but it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues - access to the bedroom is a tight squeeze up the stairs! Equipment is generally very basic and missing some essential items such as a cafetière ( the corkscrew was broken). The pool is beautifully clean and was very welcome in near-40 degree temperatures. Overall, we had a wonderful few days in Proissans as it is so peaceful. Be sure to visit Sarlat de Canéda - so much to see (and eat!!)

Déception pour la location!

Nous savions que la maison était petite, mais pas à ce point! Trop exigu. L'accès à la chambre, une épreuve!!! presque de l'escalade; Location pour des jeunes... Dommage car le site est agréable, calme avec une belle piscine que nous n'avons pu utiliser du fait du temps. Nous avons quand même passé un bon séjour car la Dordogne est magnifique!

Emplacement idéal à proximité de Sarlat, et seul face à la forêt ... Difficile de faire mieux :-)

Malheureusement avec la météo capricieuse de ce début juillet 2021, nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la piscine et profiter à son maximum de la terrasse et de l'extérieur. Malgré tout, nous avons pu voir un chevreuil/biche à proximité de la maison, et un faucon tourner régulièrement au-dessus de nous. Nous étions idéalement situé, à proximité de Sarlat et des principaux site à visiter du Périgord noir, comme la proximité des vignobles de Bergerac (l'emplacement est vraiment le top de cette location). Petit bémol pour notre arriver, où personne n'était présent pour nous indiquer rapidement machine à laver, sèche linge, wifi, tv satellite (le propriétaire n'étant pas sur place). La situation encaissée ne favorise pas le passage de la 4G, au minimum voir inexistante dans la maison. La wifi devient donc indispensable, et malheureusement pas au niveau de ce que l'on pourrait attendre dans un locatif aujourd'hui (c'est le principal bémol de notre séjour avec la météo). Nous recommandons tout de même cette location, où nous aurons plaisir à revenir avec un peu plus de soleil.
